Let's see.........Dallas SUCKS big time and New England is on a roll. But.....new england has the WORST DEFENSE
Big Time Dallas fan here. One thing I can tell you about Dallas after 22 years of watching them closely....is that in the past 11 years Dallas loses games they shouldn't and wins game you wouldn't expect.
having said that........I'm really thinking it could be a an upset. Dallas + 7. New England is a really good team and should win the game. But I wouldn't be shocked to see Dallas cover the spread. I know....alot of people will be pushing New england hard in NE and I can't blame them. or you can at least bet the Over. Dallas is a sucky team either way

This Dallas offense, finally fully healthy with Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and Witten together, and now a legit 3rd receiver in Robinson...VERY potent passing game. Yeah Romo has meltdowns on occasion, but he also turns in huge numbers. Don't expect Romo to implode again going against the worst pass defense in the league. And NE is very poor at getting to the QB...8 sacks in 5 games. With little pressure, Romo will be even better. Let's not forget in that Detroit blowup, Romo was blasting the Lions with basically no Austin, and a very limited Bryant. When Detroit began harrassing him in the 2nd half, made adjustments to the backup receivers, and Dez no longer was able to go full tilt, that's when the wheels came off. That won't be the case this game.
Also, Dallas has all 3 of its top corners on the field for the first time ALL YEAR. No, it won't hold Brady in check, but will be able to put up some decent resistance to keep Dallas in it. If Dallas could get some pressure on Brady it would help. Dallas does have 13 sacks thru 4 games, yet NE is tops in holding guys away from sacks.
That being said, NE is a very tough place to get a win. Huge gome winning streak with Brady. Dallas will be helped by the bye and motivated heavily, and also NE is coming off a huge division rival win. I see this game being close and both offenses doing some real damage. Whichever defense performs the best will be the winner. I'll lean with the better offensive consistency of NE and homefield for the win, yet believe Dallas will give them a run til the final gun. Small play on Dallas plus points. Medium play on OVER.

I really hope this line continues to go up. Coming off the bye week and getting everyone healthy is really going to help Dallas this week, they may not win it but they will stay within a td

The line is at 7 right now - wait a couple of days and it might move up even more, maybe 7.5 or 8. Then tease Dallas with something else , maybe at like +10.5 - - and just pray that Romo doesn't start slinging the gun like a crazy person. Dallas probably won't win, but they should cover 10.5

Austin, Dez, a suddenly viable 3rd receiver in Robinson (100+ yards last week), and Witten all healthy together will move the ball and put up points on anyone. You can't shut down Miles, Dez, and Witten...all 3 are studs. Especially with little pressure on the QB and the league's worst pass defense. Also expect Dallas to stretch the field with the passing game and then mix in some swing and screen passes to Felix when the defense is on it's heels. This Cowboys o-line can move in space.
Still of real concern is nobody holds down the Pats, almost guaranteed to hit 30, just not so sure Dallas can't get them a little below that since they're finally at full strength on def. Don't forget the top 3 corners have never been on the field together all year. With at least one of the top 2 corners missing half the time, and the 3rd corner missing the other half...the Cowboys still managed to rank 14th in pass defense. Teams continuously picked on Alan Ball anytime they needed a 3rd and long. The dude just can't cover. This is first time Ball won't be around to be the whipping boy. Another concern is for all the yards NE gives up in the air, they still have a decent scoring defense, holding teams around 21. It's easy to get down there, but they tighten up pretty well in the red zone. And Dallas does have red zone issues at times.
NE will move the ball and score alot, but Dallas should match the high point total against that awful defense, and may be able to do just enough on defense to score the upset. Whoever plays the best red zone defense is the key. Still think Dallas +7 is way to go in this spot. Tease it up to +14 and should be very solid.

I actually heard a caller on the sirius nfl channel claim that Dallas will be fielding the better QB this week. As a Jets fan I view Brady like I would Bin Laden, but come on! Thats just flat out delusional. If Rex couldnt keep it close with NE with his D, I cant see Rob keeping the lid on them. Plus Tony Romo, need I say more? He is every opposing teams MVP. If it wasnt for him my Jets would be 1-4 right now!
Begrudgingly, NE -7 and Over 55

Dude every year you come in the Cowboys thread and talk shit, you have no idea what you are talking about. Austin is a better reciever then anyone one of your beloved Giants WR's. By the way who did the Giants lose to last week? Oh yea the Seahawks

The line's going the other way - now it's at 6? Yet the majority is still with the Pats? There can't be that many Dallas homers driving the line up, can there? I don't know, maybe the Cowgirls do win this one outright. Stranger things have happened......
Dallas - M/L - - {Super, Super Small Wager - I'm talking like the online minimum - $5 or $10}
