Love my Cowboys, but they are in a bad spot here. This is a solid Jets team with a new weapon in Plax. Plax has given Dallas corners a fit over the years, and last year big receivers killed the Dallas corners for big plays. Newman is out, Jenkins is doubtful. That leaves Dallas with shakey starting corners in Scandrick, Ball, etc. If Jets go 3-wide Dallas is far outmatched besides the fact they are outgunned even in a base look.
Also the Cowboys' o-line will be completely different...only Kosier and Free back. Now with the top rookie Smith doubtful, it's down to a tackle who wasn't even breaking 3rd string last year. Mix in new players as Costa and Nagy and you have some serious line difficulties against a game defense. Dallas will be improved, but it won't be for this game. And with it being the 10th anniversary of 9/11, playing in New York, and a night game...OUCH. Jets roll by 7+.
