I'm not saying the Cowboys win this game, but if you're making that argument these are the points you should be focusing on.
Dallas got screwed before the last meeting with their travel schedule playing on Sunday night and arriving home around 5:30 am Monday morning giving them just two days to prepare.
This time around, they have ten days to prepare and the revenge factor.
And one of the most telling stats that I have been watching since last season, teams that just played the Seattle Seahawks are 8-17-1 SU the following week and on a current 0-7 streak. They physically beat down teams to the point that it leaves them with a hangover.
Both secondaries suck, but Sanchez hasn't been going down field and has been doing more "dink and dunk" than anything else.
Most people think the Eagles are clearly the better team based on the most recent meeting on thanksgiving, but with Vegas setting the line at just 3 it's essentially a pick'em game. IMO, that's a Cowboys line, and I think they'll be much more prepared for this matchup.

The game's going to go like this, Philly stops the run and the game is on Romo. Romo chokes in big games.
Remember all the good things that were being said about Dallas/Dallas' run game and how good Romo was playing before the Thanksgiving game, Dallas got beat by 23 points and @ home.
Eagles take this!
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Nope, the game is gonna go like this...Dallas stops the run and makes Sanchez beat them, which he won't.
In 10 career meeting with McCoy...
4 times he went over 100 rushing...Dallas went 0-4
6 times he went under 100 rushing...Dallas went 5-1
McCoy has never gained 100 on Dallas twice in the same season.
3 of 4 times they played in Philly, McCoy held under 100, Dallas won all 3.
All 4 Eagles losses this season McCoy went under 100 yards.
Dallas allows 81.4 rushing ypg. on the road An improvement of 31.7 ypg over their season average of 113.1 ypg.
Dallas is 6-0 on the road due to much better defense, even whipping on Seattle at their house.
Dallas DC Rod Marinelli declared this week their mission first and foremost is to shut down McCoy this time. It will happen and as McCoy's career vs. Cowboys suggests...Dallas will win.
Forget the points, this is the Cowboys season on the line. Even if they lose and go 11-5, they almost certainly miss the playoffs with Ariz, Seattle, and Detroit leading the conference record by 2 games. Another conference loss for Dallas and bye bye.
Forget the points...Dallas shuts down McCoy, wins this game, and keeps their playoff mission alive...for the moment.

Nice analysis KOD. I agree with you the extra time off benefits the Cowboys and they're playing with revenge for a beat down in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. Romo is playing better this year down the stretch and I'll take him in this battle with Sanchez. The under dog in this NFC east rivalry is 24-8 ATS. Dallas is a good under dog as well going 14-3 as a dog of more than 3 points. Cowboys 6-0 SU and 5-0-1 ATS on the road this year. Feel like the half point hook is a little bit of a present and puts value into the line. Cowboys +3.5 GLTA! /Quote]

And another thing KOD I read similar information about teams the week after the Seahawks. The trend that I saw stated that teams when favored the week after playing the Seahawks were 7-22 ATS. Cowboys

Its the same scenario every year Dallas vs. Philly last game of the season winner takes the division. This year both teams are much stronger this game will come down to who turns the ball over. Its a coinflip so take the 3.5 points. Dallas has played well all year on the road and even though they may lose this game and miss the playoffs again it will be by a last second field goal from philly. Honestly there are much better games to bet on if your gambling to make money... I you just want some action on a hot game take a stab at the boys +3.5

btw Dallas defense is not horrible by any means and neither is philly's both defenses are very improved and the thanksgiving game was a joke. Dallas won't play that terribly again this time watch and see. That being said GO EAGLES!!!!

I like the Eagles here. Eagles 2nd in the league with 44 sacks and I know Romo gets rattled when he gets hit, not to mention lingering back problems. I just think that if the Eagles can get pressure they can do some damage.
I'm also a fan of the Eagles hurry up offense and believe it matches up well against the Cowboys. Nick Foles could return this week also if needed or if Sanchez struggles.
Second verse same as the first.....
Eagles 41 Cowboys 20

Teams coming off a game against the hard-hitting defending Super Bowl champs are
just 3-8 SU and 2-7-1 ATS (excluding Denver, which had a bye after its Week 3
loss to Seattle). And, ever since the Seahawks and their L.O.B. got their swagger back, their last seven opponents are 0-7 SU and ATS in the following
game. The Philadelphia Eagles are up next.
Philadelphia is coming off a
24-14 beating at the hands of Seattle and opens the doors of Lincoln Financial
Field to a well-rested Cowboys side, desperate to stay in the postseason hunt.
The last time these teams met, Dallas was on a short week following a physical
affair with the Giants and got run of its own field. This time around, the
Cowboys have had 10 days off to prepare and take a perfect 6-0 SU road record
(5-1 ATS) into Philly.

You forgot to mention that Romo's QB rating is always over 100 after he visits Pappas Bros Steakhouse and lays a dump with at least a 12 inch diameter.
And also when Demarco Murry watches American Idol before playing Philly and Clay Aiken sings with the weather being between 20-30 degrees the Cowboys are 5-0.
With all of these stats, Dallas has got to be the play!!!!!

Het KK WTF? Echelon 1 is just pointing out 2 simple keys to this game. Dallas must do a better job of stopping McCoy and the Philly running game (Eagles gashed Dallas for 256 yds rushing while McCoy ran for 159 yds last time out) Rod Marinelli is one of the reasons I like the Cowboys in this spot. The other point E is making is the Cowboy's backs are against the wall after the previous loss to Philly and you should see a maximum effort from Dallas in this one. KK I see you are capping on Romo's bowel movements and there might some value in that. I'm sure he moves better in the pocket after a big ole dump especially a 12'' one! But where does one find such information? Can you go to www. Tony takes a sh!t . com? Always looking for a new angle. BOL KK
