I'm surprised the line is only Pitt -3. The Cowboys have gotten hot with Romo back, but Pittsburgh is a good team and a very tough place to play. I love the Cowboys, but I love money even more... early lean on Pitt minus the chalk.

Dallas fan here...not ashamed of it. and no, I'm not a Dallas homer. I was a Pats fan back in 94 when very few believed and just stopped cheering for NE in 2005
Let's breakdown the teams
Offense: gotta give it to Dallas. Romo, Barber, Whitten, T.O., Roy Williams....nuff said.
Defense: Pitt by a country mile
qb: still gotta give it to Romo. yeah, I know Big Ben has won more playoff games than Romo probably ever will, but for the reg season Romo is on fire as usual. plus both of these qbs are prone to an int or 2 for various reasons. you can pretty much set your clock to a Romo Int, while if Big Ben gets an int...I think it hurts the team a little more.
Coaching: Wade Phillips. Pitt fans know deep down that Mike Tomlin is prone to serious coaching errors when the game is on the line in the 4th quarter. (Ex. against Jax last year....WTF was that? and a game earlier this year. I think it was the Pitt game against NY). yeah, Dallas fans know that Wade Phillips hasn't won a playoff game in life as a head coach and probably will extend his "record" to this year. as a Dallas fan I wish I could hear the rationale Jones used in hiring a non playoff winning coach to coach a team that hasn't won a playoff game in approx 12 years...and counting
Xfactor: who needs it more? Pitt is red hot right now....but Dallas needs this like a fat kid needs cake after not eating all day long and it's 5pm. Pitt has won 3 in a row, but I'm not too keen on them when they face a high flying offense like Philly and NY. or even the Colts. Dallas knows they are behind Atlanta for that last wildcard spot and may take a "do or die approach" . I wonder for the life of me why Dallas doesn't use barber in the wildcat.
Having said that. I think it would be foolish to automatically just ride Pitt to town just because of their D and because They are facing Dallas. Dallas is one of those teams that can fool you. I've heard many say Dallas was left for dead about a month ago, and now some are saying Dallas has a chance to be the best competition for the Giants in the playoffs. I think Dallas is somewhere in between.
I would recommend not better on either team but playing the over/under. asap in case it goes up. Dallas and Pitt are good for about 45-50 points combined. Dallas should get 22-25 points just by themselves.
good luck betting

good point. but Pitt only -3? There is no way in this world that Pitt should favored by more than -3 or -3.5 because it's DALLAS. Dallas still thinks they can get to the SB for a reason. it won't happen, but it's good for Dallas backers to fantasize. this line started at -2.5 and it just now rose to -3 for Pitt.

Dallas needs this game to stay alive in the playoff race, so with that said Dallas is far the superior team on Offense, Pitt is much better on D, but Dalla's D can hold Pitt the question is can Pitt stop the Offense of Dallas? Pitt will do a good job on D just not good enough to stop all the Cowboys weapons.

i would NOT take either team until you know the status of Demarcus Ware and Marion Barber. That is the best piece of advice I can give anyone, and I am a life long Cowboys fan.

Do you honestly think Dallas will score 31 points here on the road vs Pittsburgh? If so, you are in for a rude awakening. At most Dallas will be lucky to score 14-17 points in this game. Pitt needs this game just as bad as the Dallas with the Ravens breathing down their necks and have no margin for error. The Steelers defense is playing with a real chip on their shoulder right now and will put pressure on Romo all day long. Harrison and Woodley will have a field day again and might put up another 5 sack performance. Dallas will keep it close in the first half but gets worn down in the second half by a stronger steeler team. Pitt rolls 28-13

Damn Dallas fans are moronic.. Its going to be mid 20's and snowing in Pittsburgh..THe pittsburgh defense gives you nothing..but 13points per game, add the fact that Demmarcus Ware has a knee issue and with his position the explosiveness and power transfer from the lowerbody will not be 100%, neutralizing his pass rush somewhat. Marion Barber wont get more than 65yrd rushing either and with this weather chalk up 2 int's and 2 fumbles for the Cowpies. Final Pitt 20 Dallas 16

Good points all the way around. Personally, I can easily see Dallas putting up 25-30 points on anyone in the entire NFL up to maybe including the Giants. I'm thinking you may have Dallas confused with Washington. Dallas has the type of team that doesn't worry about putting up points. and I think most sports fans, experts, and analysts would mutually agree that Dallas scoring 31 points in Pitt isn't that hard to believe. some would expect it. most would also agree that Pitt beating Dallas by 2 TDs would be a major upset. I'm not saying Dallas won't lose....because anything can happen. I just know Dallas has hands down one of the best offenses in the NFL. Correct me if I'm wrong but their Offense hasn't dipped out of the top 10 whenever Romo is starting.
I will offer a public apology to you if Dallas loses by 2 tds or more against Pitt. I just don't see that happening unless it's on xbox.

Steelers were +1.5 underdogs to NE because NE was hot having put 2 back 2 back 400 yards passing games together. People were thinking, this is the old NE, the 18-1 NE, Steelers blew them out. Now it's "The boys are back" having wins over the 49ers and the Seahawks, back from what? When they went to AZ and got swacked by the Cardinals? Back to the preseason SB hype? Cowbillies are not even on the playoff bracket. Steelers are -3.0 because there will be plenty of Cowbilly fans who put up their money, they want to believe in Romo. Romo does not do well in pressure games. Romo is 0-6 in postseason play, 0-4 in college postseason and 0-2 in NFL playoffs.
From the USAtoday, today:
Five things we learned from Week 13:
1. The Steelers might be the team to beat
in the AFC. With a second-half dismantling of the Patriots on Sunday,
Pittsburgh demonstrated why it will be a much tougher draw in the
playoffs this year than last January. The prowess on defense is
obvious, and something that New England quarterback Matt Cassel
(five sacks, two fumbles, two INTs, 39.4 rating) can chalk up as Lesson
No. 101. Pittsburgh is ranked No. 1 across the board — total yards, run
defense, pass defense. And the blitzes drive quarterbacks crazy.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Dallas scores more than 16 points. I will bet you that.
They have great weapons and will move the chains. It is up to Romo and what he does. It is also up to the 2 def. backs Hamlin and Henry, they could be burned quicker than the binger in front of me or come up with a pick six. If Romo does not throw an interception they win by 10. If he does, they will still move the ball again and still score. Steelers running game will be stuffed up front and Big Ben has not been Big Ben but Average Ben. They have like 1 good receiver, thats why. Dallas needs this one bad knowing they have the Giants still. Steelers already lead their division and will come off flat after a good New England game.
This game will be cold and the 1st game at Heintz Field for the Cowboys. The Steelers have not given up 300 yards in 14 games. The Cowboys will surpass 300 yards with their offense which the Steelers wont keep up with and be used to. Both teams have won their last 3.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been intercepted three or more times in a game twice this season and has been sacked 33 times this year. If Ware (knee) and recently-reinstated cornerback Adam Jones can play this Sunday, expect the Cowboys to add to their 40-sack and six-interception season totals. Barber and Ware wont practice much if any this week but expect them to play in this big game.
Average Ben will soon become a Has Ben

Pitt. 27-21 pitt defense has stepped up week after week against a brutal schedule. Offense is starting to click. If pitt stays healthy thye are the team to beat in the AFC. Don't expect anything from PacMan. When's the last time this thug played in a game?!

Worthlessburger is gonna be on the ground and often. Cowboys offensive line is hugh and will make hair guy play up more in which case TO, Witten, Williams and Bennett will make big plays for Romo. The backup running back Choice is averaging over 4.3 a carry. Barber will be fine.

They have the toughest schedule based on LAST YEAR'S RESULTS. Cleveland and Cincy were pretty good last year. They suck this year... that's one fourth of the Pitt schedule right there as they play each of them twice. Perhaps it is you that is the ass clown.
