Dallas is now in must win territory to make the playoffs. They have to be all in for this game. Rob Ryan and Garrett taking some heat this week in Dallas. Tampa has been blown out in back to back weeks.
I like Dallas -7.

Whenever Dallas is on road.. I get a little nervous betting on them. As good as it looks to bet or tease on them, I'd stay away. Other good games are available.

let me make this VERY VERY easy for you. I have said for weeks now going back to the Jets game that...Dallas SUCKS and is inconsistent. I got blasted for it from Dallas homers. I think it's apparent now that Dallas is arguably one of the most INCONSISTENT teams in the NFL. Dallas as of today isn't as good as TEBOW and the Denver Broncos. thats.....SAD
Having said that....Tampa Bay is a much suckier team. If u think Garret sucks...is Raheem Morris that much better?!?!?!? I'm leaning more towards not playing either side and just taking the Over 46.5.
If I had to pick a side....I would lean towards Dallas -7...but we should all know that Dallas will SCREW u big time when it counts the most. Ur depending on FELIX jones and new Rb pickup Sammie Morris to save the day....YIKES

Yes, Dallas is very untrustworthy, yet this game is just what the doctor ordered. Dallas only has to beat Bucs OR Eagles to force another showdown with Giants to win NFC East. If Dallas goes 1-1 and Giants go 2-0 over next 2 games...Giants would be a game up on Dallas. However, a Dallas win would even the final overall records. They'd be ties in NFC East record and tied head-up. But Dallas would own a better overall NFC record which would award them the NFC East crown. As a Dallas fan, I guarantee you they do not want to lose this game and have to beat both Philly and Giants. They already saw what Philly brings when they come fired up to play the Boys. So this will be the game Dallas points to in order to get them back to a one-game playoff with Giants.
As for this game, the Bucs are terrible. Lost 7 straight, got blown out last two games by Carolina and Jax, and have the 2nd worst scoring defense in the league giving up 28.5 points/game. Best of all for Dallas, TB run defense is awful and surrenders the most rushing TD's in league. Even without Murray, Felix has the ability to expose this weakness. Felix is a good RB and played well when Murray went down last week. He just has to stay healthy and is at the moment.
Of important note, TB is now ties for the 4th pick in the NFL draft with six other 4-9 teams. A useless win here against Dallas could cost them big with draft position. The team has clearly mailed it in and certainly are looking at draft position. While Dallas is hard to trust, this would be a good spot to try our luck against a team they will score alot on. Buy Dallas down to -6.5 or tease them, as Boys are the smart pick here.

yea i cant see the bucs coming out fired up for this one. they have mailed this season in and dallas really needs this game in a big way. Now i know dallas plays everyone close but i cant see the bucs losing this by 3 or 4 points. Now i got this game at 7.5 dallas will win this by at least 10 you gotta figure. Cowboys 31-13

Best poster on covers. Well researched, analyzed and written. This is a perfect tease in my opinion.

Dallas has a lot to play for.. obviously. I think they jump out early and blow out TB. The way things have gone with blowing 12 pt leads, Dallas will not feel comfortable unless they have a huge lead.
Must Win for Dallas...
DAL 37 - TB 13.
GLA!

Just to correct my earlier post, I researched tiebreakers and scenarios in extensive detail. Assuming the Giants win out before rematch, Cowboys could afford to lose to Bucs yet not Eagles. With a loss to Philly, Dallas would be a game behind NYG before rematch. Winning that would tie all records...overall and division. But the 3rd tiebreaker is not NFC record, it's the common opponents. And with Giants beating Jets next week they'd be a game up on Dallas in common opponents. The NFC record wouldn't come into play.
That being said, it won't change the motivation or matchups a bit for this game. Dallas will be playing each week like it's a playoff. TB has rolled over and looking towards offseason. Like said earlier, Dallas will look to jump on Bucs early and put them out fast. With that Buc defense, should happen.
Dallas also tends to excel in games it can run the ball very effectively against weak run defense...Buffalo (37 pt win), Seattle (10 pt win), SL (27 pt win). Common denominator in all 3 is Dallas ran very well and set up short down and distance often. It also opens up all the other options by bringing the defense closer up and distracted. Dallas' best blocking TE is back for this one...Bennett. With Fiamatta back situated at FB and Bennett back from injury, the two-tight set pounding the ball will pay big dividends. And then the play-action to Witten or even deep ball should be available often.
Also have a strong feeling this is a huge statement game for Rob Ryan and the defense. Against this anemic Buc offense (broke 20 points once in last 7 games), it be a great time for redemption. Everything looks in line for Cowboys to make a dominating statement that they are still very much alive and ready to make a run.

Another interesting trend...Bucs are 6-20 ATS in last 26 home games.
As for Romo in December...in 2011, he's 49/73 (67% completions), 620 yards, 5 TD's, and ZERO Ints. Yeah he missed Austin deep at end of last week, other than that Romo hasn't been even close to causing those losses. Those numbers are excellent for any QB.
