Poor Dallas ...:(..  Cowboys don't cry...
Funny thing is these two teams know each other so well that the under is gonna be the play even though many will be on the over .. Not me this divisional rivalry has drama written all over it 21-21 ot first one to kick a 45+ yard field goal wins it all...

DALLAS  fan here....very devoted.   Been a fan since 81 and have watched every game since 89 with the start of the Jerry Jones Era.  If RGIII were playing I would say Dallas.  But Kirk Cousins is out there who I'm saying is probly a better qb than RG3 is now. 

Take Wash +2.5.     putting ur $$$$$ on Dallas now  knowing what a choke team they are is a JOKE.   Don't be a sucker and subscribe to the logic of....."Dallas is in a do or die situation....."   I'm telling u....don't be shocked if Dallas loses this game and the final game against Philly because it sure looks that way.    Spydaweb.....U have been rite.  Dallas is now offically a joke of a team.   these are HARD times for us Dallas fans.....sniff sniff

I love how people dismiss the entire situation to focus on emotions.  Sure Dallas blew a big lead and the defense looks like a wet paper bag.  Is it just me or did Washington lose to a much more pathetic Atlanta team than GB last week???   As a matter of fact hasn't Washington lost 6 in a row?  Get some perspective here.

I'm not saying Dallas is the hands down choice here, just saying just because it looks like Dallas is gimping around and shitting the bed, doesn't mean the team they are facing isn't 3 times more ineffective.  If this were Dallas vs. someone proving they can win now and then, then fade the Boys here.  But that's not the case with Washington, not at all.  They lost to the ATLANTA FALCONS for their 6th straight loss last week.  Think about it.

And believe it or not with Washington's lack of "multiple" dangerous receiving targets, the shitbag Dallas pass defense actually matches up much better with the Skins offense than they do with the majority of other teams. 

My key to this game is simple, do Sean Lee and/or Morris Claiborne play.  If either plays they can arrange a defensive formation to give them a better shot on defense.  With Claiborne, they will bring Church down as a hybrid MLB in the nickel and have 3 worthy corners and less scrub LB's on the field.  They've run this formation before and it is fairly effective for them.

With Lee in they can play more of a man attack in the front 7 as Lee, Wilber, and Holloman will be an effective LB unit to pair with the DL to at least hold their ground well.  Then the secondary can have a better setup than last week.  

But trying to compensate for all the LB's that went down while missing Claiborne is too much, and any decent passing offense should move the ball at will.  Cousins would eat their lunch.

Like I say, if you see Lee OR Claiborne back, Dallas is the pick.  If neither...I just can't see the defense putting up enough resistance...although the scorefest will be close.  Either way, betting Washington here is not a smart move whatsoever.  I'd go Dallas for the reasons above, or just make it a no-play if none of them occur.  Bet Washington at your own risk, it's not a solid, substantiated choice beyond whiplash emotion from being a Skins fan or disappointment in Dallas.  And betting for those reasons is just naive and fruitless.

Dallas wins this game, can you guess why? Let's take a trip down "Epic Fail" lane, shall we?

2 seasons ago - Cowboys season comes down to the final game against the Giants in New York. Of course, they lose handily, and the Giants go on to win the Superbowl.....

Last season - once again, Cowboys playoff hopes come down to the final game in week 17, this time against the Redskins in Washington and some rookie "phenom" nicknamed RGIII. And once again, they lose handily.....

This year - this week, Dallas is playing a hapless, (and soon to be coachless) reeling "Tomato Can" Redskins, while the Eagles are playing a red hot and probably playoff bound Chicago.

Now, if history is to be repeated for the unheard of and unprecedented "Triple Divisional Epic Fail Trifecta", Dallas wins this week, Philly loses to the Bears, now both teams sit at 8-7..... And it all comes down to that dreaded Week #17...... AKA "The Cowboy Killer".... Against the final divisional rival who can once again squash the Cowboys playoff hopes....

But, it didn't have to come down to this. Philly lost last week, and if the Cowboys would've won that game against the Packers, and then this game, the final game wouldn't have mattered..... But losing on the final game of the season - 'tis the Cowboys destiny....

The only difference this year, is that the Cowboys are at home, will that be the trendstopper? I don't know, but I do know this.... No playoffs, no more Garrett, and look forward to a 2014 "rebuilding" year......

But, hey, good luck to all you Die Hard Cowboys fans...... You're gonna need it........

I think the Redskins take them.  They have new life under Cousins.  Also will be London Fletcher's last game.  They will be up for this one.

Cowboys defense can't stop the run and they sure can't stop the pass.  Look for Alfred Morris to run all over them and also Rex Grossman to have a great passing day against the dreadful Cowboys pass defense.

Both these teams are coming off tough losses, but there's a big difference between the losses that will hopefully pay us dividends in this matchup. 

The Redskins finally made the move they should have made at the beginning of the season in playing Cousins. Their offense finally showed some signs of life, and they nearly pulled off one of the most remarkable wins of the season. Last Sunday they turned the ball over 7 times!!! 5 lost fumbles and 2 INTs. And yet in the final minute they were in position to take the game into overtime. Whether we like it or not, that is a sign of resilience!! Who would have expected that type of effort in a meaningless game? Unfortunately Shannan elected to go for 2 and the win. While I don't respect Shannan, I think that type of move expresses confidence in his team and will help boost morale for a team in desperate need of some type of confidence builder. 

Now in come the beat up Dallas Cowboys who find themselves under the gun in the month of December after allowing one of the biggest comebacks in franchise history. That is not a character-building loss like the Redskins just had. That's a flat out choke job and I am not going to back a team laying points on the road when they are reeling. The cardinal rule in handicapping is things never get easier on the road. Especially when you have a defensive coordinator that looks like a senior citizen and is coaching a defense missing some key personnel.

I think the stars are aligned for the Redskins to come together as a team and embrace the spoiler role. Keep in mind, they've lost their last 3 home games, and there last home game was a humiliating loss to the Chiefs. They owe their fans a much better effort on Sunday. Now with Cousins under center, London Fletcher playing his last home game, and more importantly, a chance to knock their hated division rival out of the playoffs, the Redskins finally have some incentives to win a game!!! Winning this Sunday might finally put some meaning to a season that has been an utter disaster.

And if the Skins win, then Philly-Bears game would be meaningless ? I don't think the line will be posted until after the Dallas game since they play later at night. Got to be scary for the books.

Quad makes the most sense here.  Trifecta hahaha great one. 

Dallas has an offense and will score lots of points.  So will Washington. Samy mentioned the massive amounts of turnovers WA had last week,  this bodes well for the coyboys. A team that is more careless with the ball than the cowboys can only be a help for Dallas.  

Dallas and the over so they can complete their trifecta haha.
