Again, only three teams have beaten Atlanta at home: NO twice, GB in its 15-1 season and Denver in Matt Ryan's rookie year.
AFC record: 13-4
The Falcons have a 3-1 record against the AFC each year for the past 4 years. Since 2009, the team to beat the Falcons from the AFC won their division that same year: HOU(2011), PITT(2010), NE(2009). Atlanta started the year winning against the AFC KC Chiefs.
ESPN MNF record: 0-3
It would seem that the Falcons aren't fans of MNF at all, but closer analysis would reveal that the Falcons played the Saints each of the past three years on Monday night, with each three ending in a loss. This stat has more to do with a tough division rival.
***KEY STAT***
Franchise Atlanta Falcons CB Brent Grimes tore his achilles in the win against KC and will be out for the season. Asante Samuel will start in his place

Don't get me wrong ATL is a very good team this year. However, the only advantage on either side of the ball that i can see is home field advantage. The offenses are very similar in their capabilities, but I will take Manning over Matty Ice. The main difference here is the defense! Jack Del Rio has got our defense playing good, if it wasn't for Ben Roethlisberger having a tremendous game last week (until the very end), converting on every friggin 3rd and long that game could have been a blowout. Ryan is gonna have to play perfect to win this one because that d line and linebacking core will be shutting the run down and Ryan will feel the pressure. Tony G will be the outlet, but i don't think its gonna help much. I wonder which receiver champ will line up on...hopefully they put him on white then let Julio take double coverage all day. Goodbye ATL offense. How is ATL gonna stop the Denver offense?

I agree Petey. Falcons do not have a defense capable of stopping Field Marshall Manning. They run like shit and Denver has the better defense and Manning will not be rattled by playing in Atlanta.

Nice detail Grimmm regarding the Atlanta CB, just that much easier for Manning. Not worried about Atlanta's home record as this Denver team looks like a well oiled machine with an arguably better quarterback then Greenbay. It's going to be a shootout and I think Denver manages to get more bullets into Atlanta.

Gett$ you're spot on: Manning as a Dog is rare indeed. He's 1 of very few who can deal w/ domes, ATL, & MonNiteFootball. Besides, and on top of that, Denver starts w/ D

Good luck Peyton. One game back from neck surgery doesn't make you invincible from taking hits and getting hurt again! I think critics are giving the Denver offense a little to much credit considering the fact that none of the WR's have proven themselves in there careers or on a big stage on MNF. Especially in the Georgia dome! On the other hand, Atlanta is a newly revamped team that will be pass hungry. Matty Ice will show the old Peyton who the new kid on the block truly is!!! DIRTY BIRDS!!! Cheehoo!!!!

Betting is obviously a math game. Check this stat out. Underdogs have covered a 3 point line 7 of the 9 times a 3 to 3.5 point line has been the closing line. Take the Broncos and buy the half point to push it to 3.5 and win.
