C Palmer is back from his shoulder injury but sat out the preseason with an ankle injury. He will start. He will be rusty but he is better than what Denver has to deal with.
K Orton will start wearing a glove to protect his R index finger "open dislocation" injury.
In case you don't know that means his finger joint was dislocated duh. But the "open" part means it was cut all the way down to the bone and joint. It is a major injury for a QB's throwing hand. So sew up your finger with a bunch of stitches, tape it so it doesn't bend and wear a glove, then try and throw a football in the NFL.
Backup C Simms has a high L ankle sprain, has no spleen and hasn't really played since 2006. T Brandstater is a rookie and despite getting 4 sacks his 1st time out, started the last preseason gm and played well 16-30, 187 yds 1 int. Talk after last gm was Brandstater was going to start in the opener. Wow they went from Cutler to starting a rookie who leads the league in preseason sacks.
Looking at the QB roster, no wonder Denver fans are so sad. They lost their QB because the new coach doesn't know how to manage a franchise QB's bruised ego. Matt Cassell its all your fault.

These teams are both new look teams because of the QB situation. But Denver is new look worse and Cinn is new look better.
