The Detroit Lions might change a little of their history and put their 2-0 record when they visit the Arizona Cardinals. When was the last time you opened as Lions favorite to visit? -1 Lions. I'll take if you book Lions, this may be their season. Sorry for my English.
DETROIT 34 - 17 ARIZONA

The Lions are more apt to lose because of penalties against Ari...overcoming them as like against Minn won't be available. Not sure of the direction either team is heading but the reckless and stupidity of the Lions last week hasn't been an argument for the better.I have never considered Palmer as a very good QB but he certainly is a steps above Ponder....staying away.

I think Vue's computer is flashing a "wrong chalk" alert as the Cardinals should probably be -3 for this game and I am on board with his prime play. Stafford and his Lions played at University of Phoenix Stadium last year, and ended up losing 38-10 to the Ryan Lindley led Cardinals. I think Arizona could have won this game with me playing quarterback because Stafford probably had one of the worst games of his career, throwing 3 INTs (2 of them being pick-6's).
As for the new, Carson Palmer led Cardinals, I really like what I saw from their offense last week. Theres no way the Cardinals from last year could have put up 24 points against a pretty decent defense in Saint Louis. Palmer looked like he had an excellent chemistry with his receiving corp, spreading the ball out effectively to Fitzy, Roberts, and Floyd (8,8,and 4 receptions each).
I think it's also worth noting that left tackle Levi Brown was absolutely ripped by the Arizona media for getting dominated by Robert Quinn last week, and I expect him to play with a chip on his shoulder and do a decent job protecting Palmer this week.
I'm thinking Detroit plays much better than last year, but a few turnovers and key penalties end up up costing them the game (a story that most Detroit fans are all too familiar with).
Lions 24
Cards 27
Good luck

The new improved Lions with Reggie Bush is now a Force to be feared. You see Reggie Bush with stats of 90 rush and 101 Rec. yards and a TD . You saw that right ? A whole dynamic has opened up for the Lions ! Reggie Bush , Megatron ,and Petigrew being thrown to by Stafford ! The lions couldnt stop AP but they can stop Mendenhal and Alanso smith . Mendenhal was also limmited practice this week.
All I see is a big Lions win here at Lions -1

Could this really be THE year for the Lions?? Being a die hard from the D my bias is obvious. Some stats to munch on...After giving up the monster TD run from Peterson last week he was limited to 17 rushes for 15 yards. The OL kept Stafford upright not giving up a sack while Palmer was sacked 4 times. Suh, Fairley and Ansah may have a field day up front. Say what you want about Suh, but everyone of would love to have him on their team and the last time I checked Arizona's RB's don't scare anyone. Fitz will get his yards b/c the Lions secondary has more open holes than Miley Cyrus. Bush will be the difference maker again this week, if the thumb is ok the Lions will get the W. I beg OC Linehan to throw downfield this week! Snoop Dogg HAS to be excited to watch two "Ganga" experts in the Honey Badger and Nick Fairley. Three units on the Honalulu Blue please...hope everyone hits the "pay window" this week!
