RIght now it looks like Drew Stanton. The thing with Stanton he is a lot better QB than he showed last week at the end of the game just hasn't had enough game time to show his stuff.

Stanton is a pile of crap...I was at that game in Detroit on Sunday..I think he threw the ball down the field like 3 or 4 times all day..he couldn't run if his life depended on it...& when he gets hit he breaks like a twig...he's a box....

Pretty rough on a guy who has been in for all of 6 or 7 plays all year. Probably gets very few snaps in practice because he is third string. Give him a whole game and then make your analysis he is not that bad of QB although i would prefer Hill.

Stanton only threw 1 pass in the whole game, running is his only weapon. He is the only healthy qb on the roster.

Sorry...my typing error...Stafford....that was....I've never seen a player get hurt as much as this guy.....Stanton's biggest error on Sunday was late 4th about 1.50 left on the clock 3rd & 6 at their own 20 & the dumb ass decides to throw a pass instead of handing off the ball & killing the clock since the Jets were out of timeouts...I've never heard a crowd boo so loud when he did that...

Its official Hill is doing the QBing this week so the Lions will move to 8-1 vs the number they will be Buffalo with Hill in there.

When the hell do you ever remember the Bills being favorites? Anyway, in the last 6 seasons, they've covered over 60 % when favored. It's now or never! Here comes a cover and obviously their first win of the year-FINALLY!
BUFFALO - 3

I know this is a smaller number but it is hard to go against a covering machine like the Lions. Shaun Hill is in and played very well before Stafford came back. I still think the Lions continue their covering ways in this game.

@ Cincinnati Pittsburgh @ Minnesota Cleveland @ Miami New England @ N.Y. Jets
unless New England or the Jets have already clinched their division, or secured a playoff spot with no chance of advancing, I don't see the Bills winning another game. If it's going to happen, now is the time - otherwise running the table in reverse it is. GO BILLS!

Second best bet of the NFL weekend (slightly below CAR@TAM). Just bet Buffalo to cover but stay under. Detroit will come out conservative trying to run 65% of the time due to a shaky 3rd string QB and won't put up many points. Buffalo will both run and throw 50/50 it enough to put points on the board but stay under.

Shaun Hill is their second string QB and he is anything but conservative and loves to throw the ball. He also played just great in Staffords absence and like i have mentioned in many threads they have plenty of offensive weapons to put points on the board especially against that Buffalo D.

You're right but DET will either start a 3rd string QB with limited skills or a pretty good backup QB still suffering from a recent injury. So you're right about DET perhaps starting Hill but even if he does start he won't be 100% healthy. I still stick to my bet

After doing some research, i've changed my mind about this game and realized it's simply a matter of picking the better team over the winless team. Classic scenario where a team is getting too much value simply because they've been competitive and they're "due for a win". But as old-timers will always tell you- "Ride that horse" and right now that horse is a losing Buffalo team who keeps finding ways to lose with a first-year coach who may not be around much longer.
Drew Stanton is a Michigan kid, born and raised, and former Michigan State Spartan who once led Spartans to largest comeback in NCAA Division I-A history. Drew Stanton was at one time a potential Heisman candidate. He helped lead the North to victory in 2007 Senior Bowl and named offensive MVP. His first NFL pass was for a 1-yd TD and finished 6 of 8 for 94 yards while briefly filling in for Culpepper. The kid wasn't given a chance to start until the end of last season in a bad spot at San Fran.
I predict Drew Stanton proves he's no typical 3rd stringer and leads Detroit to a victory over the Buffalo Bums

Well, i guess none of that matters cuzz now ive just learned that Shaun Hill will be the starter. But hey- at least i know more about Drew in case he should have to fill in.
Btw- Lions havent won on the road in like forever but for some odd reason have managed to pull out road victories @ Buffalo in preseason the last 2 years.
