I really believe that the resigning of Kevin Smith at running back will help the Lions this week.  He has more size that Best and if he can return to his 2008-2009 form it will take some pressure off their passing game.  Like the +2.5 may buy a point to 3.5.

So, nobody likes the #2 Running Back in the NFL against the #28 defense against the run? Cold front and strong winds moving in, and it should be a rainy, muddy, windy mess on that field by Sunday? Lions star RB is M.I.A.? "Shaky" Stafford at the helm trying to throw in all of this? Homefield advantage? Giving just 2.5 points? Nobody's feeling this?

love the bears here. they may just have the most complete team in the league. every faze of the game is solid. chicago ML is the play for me

 Getting 2.5 points on the road is a great value play on the Lions.  You have every right, if you capped this game correctly, to pick the Lions ATS. I think that won't be necessary as I see a SU win in this spot. And yes- I'm a Bears fan!

Dome team outside in real football conditions I love soldier field....

DET is gonna have a tough time running the ball...

Bears trying to set up the Run alot and doing a lot of screen plays will without a doubt take lots of time off the clock, and as this game will be close all the way you are not going to see many 50 yards pass attempts or any big yard bombs.

Winds will be at 25 to 40 mph..The wind and the lakefront swirl. Detriots deep threat will be neutralized.. F.G. will be at a premium.. Bears on the upswing.
