Green Bay at Chicago (01/23/2011)

I am really looking forward to this game. I am not a big fan of either team, but I like them both. Whoever wins this game I will be rooting for in the Super Bowl. I thought about sitting this one out and just enjoying the matchup, but I just can't do it. What kind of guy doesn't get down on Championship Weekend?

You can say these 2 defenses basically cancel each other out.

Chicago has the edge in the running game and special teams.

Green Bay has a better passing game and better receivers.

This game is going to come down to the QBs, and because of that I am getting down on GB. Rodgers took a step into the elite circle last week in Atlanta, today he cements his elite status.

GB -3.5.

Other than special teams Pack gets edge in every positional matchup with considerable edge in some areas.

Familiarity factor heavily favors Capers to shut Bears questionable offense once again.Martz will no doubt have loaded trick plays but can Cutler execute them under adverse pressure ?

As far as stability and consistency A. Rodgers gets clear edge to lead Pack via resurging run and talented receiver corps.

I can get Greenbay -3 for 130/100.  Do you gusy think this would be worth it.  Im thinking about risking 650 to win 500.  Not sure if its too much juice advice plz

With all due respect, I'm not sure how you rate the Chicago with the better overall D.  Green Bay allowed less PPG than Chicago AND less YPG.  So either way you slice it, Green Bay has the better D (and give me the team that simply gives up fewer points, that's what D is all about).
