For GB, it's a question of respect and a must win scenario for maintaining any hope of playoff aspirations. Given GB's horrible division record, if they lose to the Patriots and/or their performance is poor in the loss, they can "stick a fork" in the Packers, because thet'll be done. GB has a solid D, but trading away Aha makes me question their motivation toward the "big picture". The spread is currentlly +5.5 and is a difficult # to effectively handicap in this non-divisional matchup, but given last week's debacle and the shipping out of town of T. montgomery, the various injuries to key offensive positions and NE's mid-season peak after a slow start, this one may be too much for GB to overcome. One other factor, is the nagging knee injury afflicting Rodgers, although he's appeared to weather this injury, it wouldn't take much for him to re-injure the knee and this must be considered when factoring in the level of NE's defensive capabilities. Having this game played at home, on prime time TV and against a desperate opponent, this is a game Bill Belichek loves to coach and looking at it from all the angles and the possible intangibles, I have to say that this is a very good spot for NE and I just believe too much air has gone out of the GB balloon, especially after that brutal loss at the Rams last week.

I agree with most of az49er insight. Plus this game is for the G.O.A.T. Championship belt n to quite the critic. J.D. Hoodie n T.B12 will come with a solid game plan under the prime time home lights.
