call me crazy but ever since grant got hurt, gb does not look that good. Going with WAS here
callin u crazy. just kiddin. everyone is entittled to their opinion. but WASH SUCKS. yeah, I know wash just beat philly, but they had to take out Vick to do it and they still BARELY won. wash fans know they run an INCOMPETENT organization that makes jerry Jones and dallas look very SUPERIOR. taking GB -2.5 EASY. mcnabb and co aren't going to win 2 in a row. sorry...I'm thinking they easily blew their wad against philly. GB looks like a SB team and wash isn't qualified to be a playoff team by any means. yeah, I know wash beat Dallas but that doesn't mean a heckava lot.

greenbay hasnt been playing very well but they are still 3-1 and they still have one of the best quarterbacks in the game with rodgers and they have a very explosive offense i dont see washington keeping up with the packs no portis this week green bay should win this game lay the 2.5 points.

I agree with you that they have one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but an offense can't be explosive when they are completely one dimensional. I jokingly said the other day that the skins will only put 6 in the box and cheat heavily on the pass, but honestly, the may as well just about do that. When you know a team can't get yards on the ground it makes your arial defense that much better. Similarly, the pack can be run on and you best to believe that washington run game gets up and poppin' this week now that shannahan's pet ryan torain running the rock. Bad spot for the pack here. Honestly the under looks very good too, but i'm thinking i'll just stick to the side.

While I agree GB hasn't looked like GB, Washington is giving up 300+ through the air every game. They are coming off a huge divisional win which that achieved only because Vick was knocked out and they happen to have a guy on their team that ran Andy Reid's offense for the last 10 years. GB shouldn't have to run the ball to win this game by a touchdown.

Be careful with GB, there defense is decimated. Starting RILB Nick Barnett out, and also his backup Brandon Chillar. Starting SS is out. His back-up is questionable. Starting FS is banged up with knee and sat out Wed, practice. When there is this much interior defense disarray it opens up both the run and pass. Especially with a TE like Cooley.
However, I still don't think Washington can hold down Rodgers and the Pack offense. Gonna be real similar to what the Texans did to them in the 2nd half a few weeks back. So I'm not content to get only 2.5 points and take Washington. Nor give the points and hope the patchwork GB defense can make a few key stops.
All signs are pointing OVER as the best pick here.

don't underestimate a defense's ability to adjust to an overly one dimensional offense. Green bay also has o-line issues and washington can get after the quarterback. Green Bay's offense is a lot like houston's only a little more explosive arially, and completely negligible on the ground.
Also, i agree with you in terms of what you're saying about how they did it in philly (i bet on washington btw), but that's logic that applies to the skins on the road. At home, they are a different beast and have a very good ats record as small home dogs (i'll look it up in a minute). Green Bay lost LB nick barnett and their defense already has a few holes on the ground and air defenses. That will be every bit as exploitable as washington's air defense, which the skins are well aware of and will be addressing going forward.
Also, it's not so much needing to run to get up, but needing to run to sustain a lead. Otherwise they are just going to mess around and give the skins all kinds of opportunities to come back just like the lions did last sunday.

good points. the majority of everyone on here has some good points. but let's face it...wash is a BAD TEAM. wash only has one of the WORST ranked defenses in the entire NFL. It's the NFL and anything can happen. but I would be scared as heck to put my faith in a obviously bad wash redskins team that has a low chance to even make the playoffs. the OVER looks better and better every day.
