yeah, i'm liking minny here too... houston looked solid last couple weeks, but they were mopping up on garbage and play some home games and that really over inflates there value. Minny should slap the crap outta them...

Analysis: Minnesota comes off a bye week after a disastrous loss to their division rival, the Bears giving up 48 pts to a decent Chicago offense. Before that game, they barely escaped the lowly Lions, only to nip them by a last second field goal 12-10. Then, 3 back, They need 4 NO turnovers to beat them by 3 but if anyone watched that Monday Night Game, their special teams and their defense were exposed by Reggie Bush and an explosive Saints offense. This is the team I'm laying -4.5 with? Yikes...
This game to me is pretty simple, you have a team who started out 0-3, then lost a heartbreaker to Indy to go 0-4. Houston, at that point, could have packed it in. They really could have. If anyone watched that Houston-Indy game, they know what I'm talking about. Up 18 in the 4th qtr, couldn't close. But guess what folks, this team is coming off 3 straight victories, and each week, they are looking better and better. Sure, their victories are against the Dolphins, the Bengals, and the Lions. But each week, they have been playing much better ball and their offense looks to have finally come around. Schaub has been lights out since coming back off an injury to start this 3 game winning streak.
Pretty much, I rather put my money on a team that is on a roll, getting points, and has the better quarterback. Plus, can you really trust a Minny team that is 1 dimensional, with a defense that they can no longer count on? I mean if Kyle Orton can light this team up going 21-32 for 283 2 TDs 0 INTs, what do you think Matt Schaub is gonna do coming off his last 3 previous performances?
