At first glance, this line seems way too big, and naturally the public is going to gravitate to Indy with such a large number. Especially after that Monday Night performance by the Texans. I loved fading the Texans last week against the Pats. Playing 3 consecutive road games, and squaring off against a New England team that hasn't lost at home in the month of December since 2002. To top it off, the Texans were 6-0 on the road at the time. Only 3 teams in NFL history have gone undefeated on the road, and I felt strongly that the law of averages would just catch up to them on Monday Night. Despite what Andre Johnson said about the New England game being the most important game in franchise history, I think this game has far more significance. And I expect the Texans to bounce back from their humilating defeat just like they did against Baltimore after they got embarrassed by Green Bay in a similar primetime setting.

As many of you know, I have enjoyed the Colts "story" all season long. I think Luck is the real deal, and they are a team playing some inspiring football. But that all seems to change when they go on the road. On the road, Luck has shown his rookie colors every game this season. He has turned the ball over in every single road game. Below are his numbers are on the road:

Wk 1 Lost to CHI 21-41; 23/45, 309 yds, 1 TD, 3 INT

Wk 6 Lost to NYJ 9-35; 22/44, 280 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT

Wk 8 Win over TEN 19-13; 26/38 297 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT

Wk 10 Win over JAX 27-10; 18/26, 227 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT

Wk 11 Lost to PATS 59-24; 27/50, 334 yds, 2 TD, 3 INT

WK 13 Won at DET 35-33; 23/54, 391 yds, 4 TD, 3 INT

While he has came through in the clutch for some games, he has also turned the ball over every single game. I don't expect that to change when the Colts square off against an angry Texans team that still hasn't clinched their division. You might be able to get away with it against the Lions and some of the bottom feeders in the league, but if you turn the ball over at Reliant Stadium, a team like the Texans will make you pay.

Not to mention, the Colts defense is a below average unit, especially on the road where they are giving up an average of 32 points a game (Luck's turnovers certainly not helping their case). And I don't think their personnel matches up well with the Texans. Don't get me wrong, Mathis and Freeney are great pass rushers, but I don't think they match up well against the Texans and their zone blocking scheme. I expect the Colts to get a heavy dose of Foster, and I expect Luck to spend a large chunk of his day on the sidelines. When he comes in, I think he will be out of rhythm and feel pressured into making a big play, and the Texans will take advantage.

Yeah, we all know the Texans secondary is suspect, but when your playing at home with a lead, it changes everything. On Monday Night, the Texans allowed the Pats to strike first and made some stupid penalties along the way (they also failed to recover a crucial fumble). The Texans have a great offense, but if they fall behind 21-0, it takes away their best asset, their running game with Foster. If they are not running the ball, then their offense cannot function properly because that takes away the effectiveness of their playaction. I cannot emphasize enough how important the playaction is to this Texans passing game.

After 3 consecutive road games, look for the Texans to be grateful to be back at Reliant Stadium to embarrass their new division rival Colts. I am predicting a final of 34-20.

I definitely don't get this line. Im not saying the colts are worldbeaters, far from it, but they've absolutely shown a propensity to fight and stay in most games, and to come back and win most also. Their defense absolutely blows, there's no denying just how bad that d is, but as you saw vs. the patriots the texans are banged up at tight end. Which means they have one legitimate target, andre johnson. Now it wouldn't surprise me if he goes for 200 yards against this terrible colt defense, but 9.5 really??

Worst bets is right. Teams that get broke off on monday nights tend to flop the following week. I know hou pulled it off against ravens after gbay destroyed em but lets look at theme of hou...dont do well good against strong passing teams. Luck makes mistakes but the line will even that out. Indy for the large

No - I'm telling people that there's a "solar system" of talent difference, between the Texans and the Colts. Even though Indy has a winning record, it was built up on the backs of all the "nobody teams" of the NFL. And secondarily, I'm stating because of that vast talent difference, laying 9.5 - 10 points, and taking Houston is no great deal in this spot.

Man, that's a lot of cheddar to give a playoff bound team! Sharps must know something, like Wade Phillips will have his "D" ready after that humiliating primetime loss. Plus, Luck's been sacked a lot and thrown a lot of picks lately, too - but somehow still finding a way to win.

Wait a minute guys, you are forgetting the box factor. Kubiak likes to sit on leads and run the ball. That will be a fatal mistake alowing for a loss or at least a cover by Indy.

Regardless, I am really liking the over here. Against pass happy offenses, Houston games have all gone over. Their secondary was unmasked a month ago and Indy passes much more than other teams.

Over and Indy and sprinking heavily on the moneyline.

I have only been wrong on houston games once this year. You dont often hear me toot my own horn. You have been warned.

I meant P--sy factor. The computer keeps changing it to box lol. Indy is going to come out throwing like crazy and they have the weopons to do Houston up good. This is super cheap at 47.5 points. The Colts have nothing to lose, the coach is temporary so they can go for it.

I will take the balls out style of Indy over that of cowardly Kubiak any day with this many points and in this situation. Also, Houston has limited offensive weopons, it's only really Foster, Daniels and Johnson and that wont be enough in a crunch.

Parlaying the over with Indy also.

HOUSTON - 9.5 (LARGE!)

Once again, I'm with Vue on this game. This can get ugly for Luck & Co. after Houston got embarrassed on MNF. History will tell you to usually go with the MNF loser the following week. This is a great chance for Houston to rebound and show their dominance for the division crown. I love Luck and think he's the future, but he also needs to work on some things as he leads the NFL in INTs. Houston owns the Colts and they should win this one easily. Besides, Colts will have their chance for revenge at end of year in Indy.

Houson minus wutevs. Throw last week out the window, u clones. This is a different opponent and it's in Houston. Last week is gone and a distant memory. Houston should dominate on Sunday.

Hou 1H (-6.5) is the bet for this game. Texans have to straighten things out before the Playoffs and will do so here starting from the opening gun. Hou was humiliated and beaten in all phases MN and good teams respond immediately in those situations. See the Balt game earlier. I see a repeat of that. Indys the biggest surprise TY and Luck's gonna be good for years but their in a terrible spot and have been lousy on the road all year.
