indy easily min pass d is horrible even green bay had some deep passes on there secondary, mannin should easily go for 300 yards

Peyton started slow last week but came on later in the game...with this suspect pass defense minny has i definitely like that matchup...and as far as marvin not being the same old marvin, don't forget he did have 8 catches for 76 yards...that could double this week easily...AP might have a big game on the ground, but he is going to feel it after a few big hits from Bobby boy...the Indy def is very fast and look for the speed DE's to cause Tarvaris lots of problems when he drops back to pass....my pick is Indy - 1

Wow! I find it funny how everyone has all these wacked out theories on why Minnesota will cover!! What.. Indy -1 at Minn. thats an early xmas gift. The Colts have one shakey opening game on the road when the Bears played the best game they've had in years.. There shouldn't even be discussion on this game. Theres no way indy starts off the season 0-2 with a loss to Minn. Although Indy's D has been having lots of trouble against the run I think they find a way to slow down Peterson and shake up Tavaris with a couple good sacks. Manning and company wins this won double digits.

Call me dumb, but i'll take Indy. Line seem strange, but this is a strange business. Colts offense looked a little tense last week in the new stadium. Maybe they will actually play better in an older dome?

Can the Colts start the season 0-2??  Ask yourself that question first........how did you answer it?  The average guy on the street says..."No way dude, the Colts aren't starting the season losing 2 games!"  Then they see it is against Minn and they say, "Oh, they will get it going against the Vikes, they lost last week too, and thier QB has some issues."
 
Well......I think the Colts can start 0-2......and obviously, Vegas thinks the same or the spread wouldn't be at 1 or 2 everywhere this morning..........that tells me that this is not the game to put you money on........pick something a little cleaner and easier to read...........like the Giants ripping apart the happless Rams today.   But if you have to play the game.........take Minn.  Peyton isn't in the flow yet.....and Bears and Vikes defenses in back to back opening games isn't the way to start the season out when you are getting you first real time and action of the year like Peyton is right now.

Over 70% of the public is on Indy here today, and the line is dropping.  For a true bettor, there isn't too much to think about here.  The Colts looked OLD and SLOW against the Bears.  Peyton looked out of rhythm, Joseph Addai was nowhere to be found, Marvin Harrison was non-existant, and the defense couldn't slow down a rookie running back.  Now today they have to go up against the Vikings, who despite 3 quarters of pretty horrible play against the Packers, still had a shot to win at the end.  I think they control the clock with Peterson, play tough ass defense, and force Peyton to make some mistakes.  Colts start 0-2, possibly 0-3 with the Jaguars next week!!

One bad game is not enough to convince me to bet against the Colts. both teams have a good running game but if I have to choose between Jackson and Manning call me crazy but I'm going with Manning.

That's why I'm taking Minnesota...suckers are lining up for this one for miles.  Don't be foolish people.  The Minnesota defensive line will have a field day today.  The one way you shut down Manning is to get in his face and blitz up the middle.  With Jeff Saturday out again and that MONSTER defensive line of Minnesota, Peyton will be running for his life all afternoon.

Minn +whatever...

the suckers are the ones who look at week 1 and think peyton is now alex smith.  the colts will get deep into the playoffs this year and they will easily cover here.

I'm a vikings fan.  The Colts will win this game.  I won't bet on them because I don't want to root against the Vikings or myself.  But this is an easy one.

Regardless of who thinks what on this thread. . .  No tricks to this game here because it is simple, NO QB NO WIN for Vikings.
