So, do the Titans lose 6 in a row, or do the Colts lose 4 in a row. Wow, both of these teams went south fast, didn't they? Anyways - there's a reason there's no such thing as a "Kerry Collins Factor", like there's a "Peyton Factor". Plus, the Colts were oh so close in the losses to the Pats & the Cowboys, and if they would have won both of those games, and been 8-4 instead of 6-6, the line would be like 6.5 or 7 right now. Addai is "questionable", but whether he plays or not I gotta think Peyton being Peyton, he's gonna throw all over this bottom dwelling ranked Titan defense. Also, you know Chris Johnson's gonna get a couple for himself. I see this game like 35-14 or something like that - Colts only giving 2.5 right now is a gift - get it before it goes up.
Colts -2.5 & over 45

The good news for both of these teams is one of them gets to snaps a losing skid. If CJ can't get out of his slump against Indy, I don't know who he'll do it against. Nevertheless, I'll take my chances with Indy. Surely Peyton won't have 3 poor performances in a row and Kerry Collins strikes fear in the eyes of no one. Good luck.

SLAMMING INDY. They know how much this game means to their playoff push. If they lose this one its gonna be nearly impossible to make it. This game is do or die.... How many more INT`s can Peyton possibly throw.....

Tough one to call...Indy is banged up....Titans are a mess but Chris Johnson may have a field day against the Colts defense. I've got CJ on fantasy and actually benched him the past weeks due to his lackluster production this season. He might just have a big one in this game. Manning has thrown a lot of int's lately but as good and experienced of a qb he is I doubt it will continue.
Hard one to choose but what can you do when the college regular season is over....wait till the Bowl games? or just touch the ugly games for now

Indy can't stop the run and can't establish it either. With Kenny Britt back on the field and just the threat that Randy Moss could pose, that will open the lanes for Chris Johnson to inflict just enough damage to keep this one close. However, the Colts could stack the box just as other teams have done to contain Johnson, but this will also leave either of the deep threats of Britt and Moss open. Collins might not scare anyone but then again niether has Manning over the past three weeks. I believe other teams have found the weaknesses in the Colts reletivley new receiving corps due to injuries and have found ways to capitalize on receivers over running routes or under running them which has allowed Manning to be more prone to turnovers. Both these teams are average NFL teams this season, which have had to endure injuries that have affected starting rosters, and have had to make serious adjustments. So if it comes down to a field goal, as the spread indicates, I'd have to back Rob Bironas as he's got the stronger boot and he's well aware of his range at home. Titans +3
Stats to consider...VIA STATFOX.COM...
Tennessee- 12th rushing offense (112yd/gm) and 11th in rushing yards per attempt (4.3) v.s. Colts- 29th rushing Defense (142.7 yd/gm) and 31st in rushing yards per attempt (4.8)
Colts- 1st passing offense (303 yds/gm) and 12th in passing yds per play (6.8) v.s. tennessee- 23 passing defense (238.7 yds/gm) but 9th in yards per pass defense (6.2)
In my opinion this line is spot on, however I will wait till Joe Public and the rest of Peytons dicipals push the line up. Although I doubt this line moves over colts -3.5, but the total will obviously move up because sooo many will be on the favorite...In which case I suggest you buy the hook to get Titans +4, and for extra insurance tease the titans with the under giving you a nice coushin of Titans +9.5, under 52.5

Don't ever think that Peyton in his wildest dreams envisioned that injured nightmare, the Colts have become. As I see it, lose this game-kiss the playoffs goodbye! Manning has been pressing, trying to create something good. The end result is lot of INT's. The presence of Moss on the other side is a "non-factor"! Moss never can be counted on to save "a sinking ship"! There are only 2 Superman QB's in this league-Brady & Manning. As I see it, Peyton comes thru with a fantastic game, and an easy cover. Cannot picture any other scenario here!
INDY - 3 (LARGE!)

CJ on both my teams. I think he will have a break out game this week, and if it doesn't happen this week it's not going to happen against Houston. He was embarrassed by them a couple of games ago.

COLTS signed up old RB Dominic Rhodes that use TO play for them when they had the EDGE as RB
BIG differnce with HIM HE knows the offense and can add help to O line Can run and catch the ball give manning a ground game !
Play action passes GODD BYE Titans Blow out city ONCE Manning gets offense rolling and has youe defense on it's heels it's quick to line HE calls the plays NO huddle and bang bang bang bang right down the field and scores !
Randy MOss is unhappy rt now at Titans HE is NOT playing at all makes NO efort to catch a ball any more if it's slightly out of reach it goes to theground !
What a great actor he is too !

The Indianapolis Colts look to avoid the jinx of the Super Bowl loser as they try and stay above .500 when the visit the Tennessee Titans for Thursday Night Football.
The Tennessee Titans have lost five games in a row and are struggling. After looking to rebound from last season when they couldn’t buy a win to start the season, all looked well for Jeff Fisher and the Titans but with Vince Young going down and falling out of favor, the Titans are looking for answers. Kerry Collins was awful last week against the Jaguars completing just 14 of 32 passes for 169 yards and for the season he has completed just 54.7 percent of his passes for 807 yards with five touchdowns and five interceptions. Chris Johnson was bottled up against the Jags and while he’s rushed for 1,026 yards and nine touchdowns, he simply doesn’t look like the player he was last season. Tennessee’s receivers have suffered through a bad season as Kenny Britt has been injured most of the way and Nate Washington has been forced to pick up the slack but he has just 33 catches for 544 yards and five touchdowns and Bo Scaife has 32 catches but just 298 yards and two touchdowns. Stephen Tulloch leads the Titans with 127 tackles and Michael Griffin is having a huge year with 85 tackles. Jason Babin has nine sacks and Dave Ball has seven as Tennessee has 33 as a team. Griffin also has four interceptions and Courtland Finnegan, Alterraun Verner, and Jason McCourty each have two as the Titans have 15 as a team. For the season Tennessee is averaging 21.9 points and 291.6 yards per game while defensively they are allowing just 19.6 points and 362.1 yards.
It’s been a rough season for the Indianapolis Colts as dreams of returning to the Super Bowl have turned to a mad scramble to try and make the playoffs. Even Peyton Manning doesn’t look like his old self completing 66.1 percent for 3,709 yards with 24 touchdowns and an uncharacteristic 15 interceptions. Joseph Addai has been injured the bulk of the season and the Colts simply don’t have any other backs on the roster who can do as much as Addai as far as blocking and receiving as well as running. Reggie Wayne has 90 catches for 1,107 yards and five touchdowns and while those are big numbers, it’s been a matter of him being one of the healthier players. Austin Collie sits at 50 catches, Pierre Garcon is up to 46 and 5534 yards, and Jacob Tamme has 42 catches for 416 yards and three touchdowns. Antoine Bethea has 86 tackles and Pat Angerer has 68. Robert Mathis has eight and a half sacks and Dwight Freeney has eight but the Colts defense has been the walking wounded with a different cast of players week to week. Kelvin Hayden and Aaron Francisco have two interceptions each but Jerraud Powers is now out as well. For the season Indianapolis is averaging 26.4 points and 382.4 yards while the defense is allowing 24.2 points and 342.8 yards per game.
Tennessee is 7-2 against the spread in their last nine as a home underdog, 0-5 against the spread in their last five overall, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five Thursday games. Indianapolis is 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight road games against a team with a losing home record, 4-1 against the spread following a game which they didn't cover, and 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games as a favorite. The home team has covered five of the last seven meetings of these two.
This should be a pretty decent game as far as it being competitive and while the Titans defense is the strongest unit of any of the units for either side this game, I think we see some points as Manning will be opening things up and the Colts defense is so banged up. With the total set at 46 and dropping, I think this one doesn't have much problem going over.

Allright. First round of playoffs. I am in a PPR league where you start one running back. I have Arian Foster and Chris Johnson. Foster plays Baltimore Monday night and Johnson goes against Indy. Based on matchups obviously Johnson would normally be the better play but Foster has out performed him all year. need some help lost in a tie breaker to win the division and in this conundrum now.

Yeah he really cost me....we play for cash every week on the head to head match up between players and I was losing by 1-5 points.
BTW Reggie Wayne is my WR and he didn't do much himself this season..you know it's bad when my kicker Josh Scobee was scoring more points on a weekly basis ....well Reggie did better last week.
Good luck

Now Garcon and Collie are hurt??? Who the hell is Peyton going to throw to (besides the opposing corners)?
Exactly, i keep reading how people think Peyton will bounce back but the reality is HE HAS NO ONE TO THROW TO! Couple that with their horrendous running game and the more i look at this game the more i'm liking TEN. They also lost starting corner Jerraud Powers on the defensive side (plus for possible over play). Too many negatives for the Colts right now. I'm leaning on the team with the better running game which is TEN.
