It's going to be 20-3, or 20-7, or 20-10 - take your pick, but Miami gets killed in all of them.
Jets -5.5 & under 40
No worries I feel the same way
Miami could be in deep dodo in this one. I feel the Jets will test our banged up o-line often and early by sending the house to blitz Henne. To top it off they just got a beat down from the Pats....not a good thing for my banged up Dolphins. The Jets may have burried the football from the Pats game but I think they left enough room next to the ball to bury my Dolphins.
Last season when my Dolphins went 2-0 against the Jets it was a different story. Ginn broke 2 returns for Td's, a lot of squaking went on between the 2 teams, etc. This season I was shocked to see some praises from the Jets to the Dolphins a much more civil and respectful type of conversation.
Last season Rex called the wildcat "a bunch of clown plays" and even though the Jets loss the Jets won. He stated that the Dolphins didn't beat them the Jets just beat themselves...basically refused to give any credit to the Dolphins for beating them. This season I don't think any of that talk is going around.
If there is any chance that the Dolphins can pull out a win in this one they will need to...
1) Wake up their running game to open up the passing game. Not the wildcat just simple ground and pound running.
2) Get to Sanchez often and early. Make Sanchez not forget the four int's he just threw against the Pats.
3) Can't get to Sanchez? well my Dolphins better stop the run.
4) keep Santonio Holmes under wraps the entire game. Give him one opening and he can take it to the house!
5) Everything is on the line so open up the offensive playbook. My Dolphins need to realize that we cannot be conservative anymore on offense or we will be just going through the motions and just waiting until the 2011 draft.
6) Red zone opportunities need to be TD's and not field goals.
7) special teams need to stop giving up great field position for the other team.
8) I'm sure there are a lot more to cover...but the most important thing they need to do is....Win baby...just win!
Aloha!
