I am taking the Bears here, pondering the under also. It will be in the mid-50's and probably rainy. Just miserable, sloppy weather that Minnesota is not used to since they play in a dome and they sat comfortably on their couches last weekend. Both teams will keep the ball on the ground a lot since Jackson doesn't go deep and Griese isn't very effective deep. #1 run defense in the league playing an all-around good defense and both teams will punt a lot. I am not REAL excited about taking the Bears giving 6 points when I think the score will be under 37, but the line will probably stay under seven and I like the Bears at home in shitty weather in a divisional game. I think both Adrian Peterson's score a TD and the Bears win by 10.

i really like chicago here. right now they can only get better with their defense getting healthier and griese working into the offense. this game is in chicago and i already checked out the weather. its suppose to be pretty chilly and a slight chance of rainn. so i dont think minnesota will be used to that. i also dont see minnesota scoring that many points at all just like adistar said. look for chicago defense to have a good day agaisnt the vikings at home.

I like Minnesota +5 in this game. Okay they burned me against Green Bay, but they were in it until the last drive. The time off has them chomping at the bit, and each other. Right now, Chicago isn't 5 points better than any team. Minnesota is healthy other than Erasmus. Tavaris being back is not of consequence. The Vikings have the better defense in this game allowing 14.8 points to Chicago's 23. They allow 62 yards rushing to Chicago's 89. And last I checked Cedrick Benson isn't exactly burning up the turf. I predict an over/under of 40 yards rushing for him. The nod goes to Adrian Petersen and the Minnesota rushing attack that averages 135 yards to Chicago's pathetic 82 per. Minnesota even has better offensive passing numbers than Chicago at 178 to 171 yards respectively. The Vikes have had two weeks to prepare for this game against the Bears. The Bears won me a couple-a dollars against Green Bay. They are always just a play away from winning games or losing games, so I know that they play hard for your money. One good half of football does not mean a team is still not what it is. The Bears are just not that good at what they do right now. If you can't run, you can't sell play action. The truth is cash. Damn this will be a sloppy game though. Take the under. 17-14 Bears win, Vikes cover

THE LAST POST WAS COMPLETE GARBAGE. You're talking about offensive rankings and the Vikes have a better D than Chicago? lmao. Watch the game tomorrow and I'll be back to respond at 3:15 PM. The Vikings blow ass chunks.

bears are getting back into an offensive rhythm with griese at the helm, minny has a great run defence and the bears an average runnning back, bears will sprerad the ball around all day and win this easily

I like Chicago Though the line has moved to Chicago minus 4 1/2 down from minus 6 Im surprised there is that much Minnesota money or do the Big boys know something we don't?

Nothing like throwing chairs and punches in the locker room to help team moral. Both teams have terrible offenses, both have great rub defenses. So I look at what is different over the past two years. The Bears have found ways to win games, and the vikings have found ways to lose games. To me it stands to reason that a team that just won at Green Bay will easily beat a team that just lost at home to said Packer franchise.

Bears actually have an offense now with Griese getting settled in...
They take a step up the scale this week big time!!!
DID I JUST SEE THAT RIGHT? THE BEARS HAVE AN OFFENSE NOW WITH BRIAN GRIESE??? LET'S BE SERIOUS HERE...THE ONLY REASON THEY HAD A CHANCE LAST WEEK AGAINST THE PACKERS WAS THE TURNOVERS. GRIESE DID NOT TEAR IT UP BY ANY MEANS, AND CED BENSON IS HAVING ABOUT AS PRODUCTIVE A SEASON AS HE HAD LAST YEAR WHILE RIDING THE BENCH. MINNESOTA IS THE BEST RUSH DEFENSE IN THE NFL ONCE AGAIN, MEANING THE ABILITY OF BEARS TO WIN LIES IN THE ARM OF BRIAN GRIESE. I DON'T LIKE THAT. AT ALL. EVER. NEVER. NOT ONCE. THE WILD CARD HERE IS OBVIOUSLY TARVARIS JACKSON AND HOW MANY TURNOVERS HE THROWS, BUT EVEN WITH THAT I'M STILL LEANING TOWARDS MINNESOTA, BUT MAY TAKE CHICAGO STRAIGHT UP IN A "BARN-BURNER". DEFINITELY PLAY THE UNDER HERE.
