Wow, this is one of, if not THE, most idiotic statements I've ever read on this board. There is no such thing as a 18 point favorite in the NFL, unless MAYBE you match the best team, at home, vs the worst team on the road with a bunch of key injuries. There was absolutely NO WAY any team close to 9-3 was getting 14-18 points at home against ANYBODY, New England or otherwise. Only a COMPLETE IDIOT would suggest something like this happened MULTIPLE TIMES with the Patriots. No one on this board can disagree with that.

hope brady can throw with 6 inches of snow....35 mph winds and -20 windchills!.....UBDER 41 IS THE PLAY
That's the weather he prefers, and if it is going to be like that, those short white machines the Pats have (Welker & Wood ward) will bulldoze in that snow!
This is too easy.....

The Bears are garnering the least respect of any 9-3 team we’ve seen in the past decade as they once again relied on late officiating for a victory over the Lions last Sunday. The defense is returning to the nasty form of their Super Bowl team in 06-07, but there remains plenty of distrust for Jay Cutler and the Bears offense. I guess it’s pretty familiar territory in that regard as well as Rex Grossman led the offense when they last reached the big dance.
The Patriots are on a roll having blasted the Jets to establish AFC supremacy for the time being. Tom Brady is simply playing out of his mind as his ability to read defense and execute is allowing the Pats offense to move the ball at will with a largely underwhelming supporting cast.
The defense is young but well coached and well schemed as they normally have the benefit of gambling a bit with the leads Brady and the offense are creating.
As of today, 90% of the public action is on the Patriots, and who can blame them. It’s important to keep in perspective just how dominant the Pats are at home however, having won their last 26 regular season matchups at home. With the temperature dropping in Chicago, this game could come down to who the tougher team is. With Brady unlikely to throw interceptions, the real X factor could be if the Bears defense can generate takeaways. NOT!
With the total set at 41, it almost seems trappingly low, and the weather could certainly be the reason for it. Nonetheless, I think we have two offenses that should be able to put up around 20 points or more each, so my pick on the O/U will be on the OVER.
Pats and the Over

Brady has never played in that kind of weather in New England its always balmy and 80 degrees there.

Bears will win this game straight up. Matt Forte will be able to run / execute screen passes all day on the Pats defense, and Cutler will be able to pass on them as well. Pats lack of a running game will catch up with them in this matchup.
Bears ML all day as the public is sold on the Pats right now.....

Brady's greatest cold-weather performance came in the 2004 AFC title game at Pittsburgh. It was the coldest game in Heinz Field history (-1 wind chill) and the Steelers possessed the league's stingiest scoring defense. Brady was near flawless (130.5 rating) as the Patriots won, 41-27.
There were steady winds last week at Foxboro and a wind chill of 15 degrees. Again, Brady (148.9 rating) and the New England offense were virtually flawless, dropping 45 large on a tough Jets defense.

The Bears are a wanna be team just like the NY Jets and Brady and the Patriots will expose them the same way they did the Jets last Monday night. New England wants the number 1 seed and home field advantage through out and with only 4 games left they have to keep winning. The only good team the Bears have beat this year was Philly and they were in a huge let down spot. Patriots win this one with very little effort just like Monday night and looking at the Bears remaining schedule they may have already won their last game of the year.

I'm with ya bud, no matter what the trend says with Monday nighters playing Sunday. These Pats are for real and I've had them every week AFTER they lost to the Browns. I actually had the Browns teased and won that game after reading the ATS and having the hungry Browns at home. The Pats took that game hard and look how they've responded.
Actually have Pats in a ML parlay but they should cover. Will just on them ATS if Steelers ML, Packers ML or Navy ML goes down Let's get this.
