Brady never turns the ball over, and new england has too many weapons on offense for miamis defense to handle. Ochocinco and dieon branch will open up the middle of the field for those young tight ends (hernandez & gronkowski) to do their thang

BUUUUUUUUUT I hate layin 7pts as a road team in a divisional game, esp with such a huge amount of the public on the patriots.

Therefore im gonna take the OVER, as i see pats puttin up big numbers on offense. I wouldnt be surprised to see a 35-14 game or a 27-23 game since it is a divisional matchup

Pats do have a terrible time covering that first mnf game sometimes but this team ready to roll son! The fish gets squished. PATS and OV for the large!!!!! Sorry big d

Since this is the first game and we're in uncharted waters, for me it all comes down to the QB on this one. Kyle Orton is just in a different class than Campbell or Kyle Boller - and Denver's at home

Being a long-time dolphins fan, I think its insulting how bad our coaching staff, management, and quality ( or lack thereof) of players are.

We have:

Horrific secondary play

Consistent vanilla offense

A loaded team to deal with

I think lots of people gonna tease this down to PK, I dont see miami staying within double digits if pats dont sell the game. Worst case a backdoor TD when miami down by 10? With my teams luck they will be picked off and returned for TD in a 27-17 game to end 34-17.

Gotta lay the wood with new england! They are my home team, but bias doesn't play into the spread. I can't see miami losing by less than 10 tonight. Pats will cap off my week 1 and I'll have gone 4-1, but I'm hitting this one hard!
