Taking Saints and the 2 1/2 until the Same old Falcons can prove me otherwise that they won't choke at home against a good team and Saints always have had their number.
ATL is 6 - 16 SU and 9 -13 ATS against NO since 2003
Saints are solid defensively. I don't know who is playing on defense for Falcons these days besides Osi. Can the secondary hang with Saint wide receivers? Nope. It's going to be a shootout and Saints win 31 -20
Sip on that plus money honey!

Man, too many people riding the Saints, smells like a trap to me. Everything goes out the window in division rivalries. I might wait for the line to get pushed up to 3.5, 4, or even 4.5 then pull the trigger on the home dog.....

My reasoning? Well, first this game has not gone OVER 50 in ATL in 6 years, going back to M. Smith's rookie yr. Going back further, data shows it's been only TWICE in the last 10 yrs this game has gone OVER 50. That's 2-10 Under 50 pts last 10 yrs in ATL, coaching changes and all. Additionally, the Falcons will be starting the season at home for the first time in 4 yrs. Last time they started at home, low scoring w/vs. Mia. Aside from 2012, the last 4 home openers for ATL the total has not even eclipsed 43.

My play is ATL/Saints- UNDER (50.5- 51.5).

Totally understand and hear ya "Quad" but seriously does these dirty birds got the horses to keep up with the high octane Saints ???? After last years performance I just can't picture Atlanta getting much better than last year. This spread is annoying the hell out of me!!!! What is to good to be true, usually isn't . It's driivin me nuts!!!
Gotta go with Bree's and Company!!!

Am I missing something here ? We are talking about the Atlanta Falcons right. Fade the Falcons until they prove otherwise
You are missing a lot. The Falcons got rid of the cancer Tony Gonzalez and have a healthy Julio Jones and Roddy White. Throw in Stephen Jackson too. ATL will be rockin and the Aints won't know what hit 'em.

Div gm of NFC South rivals.so line is close, but should it be?
ATL imploded last yr after Julio Jones broke a screw in his foot. M Ryan was sacked 44 times and S. Jackson only got 543 yds.
J. Jones is back, but S. Jackson is nursing a hamstring and this is his 11th season (ie. too old), speaking of old this is R. White's 10th season and had only 711 yds 3 tds last yr.
ATL lost LT Sam Backer in the preseason to patellar tendon, and rookie J. Matthews will be in the hot seat. Can you say holding? or more like "sacked again".
Meanwhile NO looks just as good as last yr maybe better with the draft of a speedster deep threat Brandin Cooks. and they picked up J.Byrd in FA after letting R. Harper go.
Unless D Freeman RB is a breakout star for ATL, I think it will be a Hard Knock for ATL to cover vs NO.
Taking NO -3
