FYI: New Orleans has won the last three at Atlanta, each by three points.
I see this coming down to last posession and fg win.
taking Saints here.
good luck 2 all
To the guy who said "my local has saints +4 and Total at 56"....
let me ask this as gently as possible: Are you out of your mind? A, teasers are bad to begin with...and B, you accept someone who gives you 4 points on totals? LOL. Ive never used a bookie in my life. If I wasn't living in vegas, there's online betting. I'm shocked that bookies still exist.
As far as the game tonight....don't have a feel either way, so i will watch and study while I watch the Cats beat up on notre dame! Good luck to everyone!

This should be a fun game to watch. The Saints team bus got egged at the Atlanta airport by airport employees. https://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8689695/new-orleans-saints-say-bus-egged-atlanta-airport.
This might just start another bountygate going
Good luck on all your wagers

Sammy_Ace : Always enjoy your game writeups, but your equating the performance of the Falcons vs. the Bucs, and then belittling the Saints efforts against a Premier team like the 49 ers's, is leaving me somewhat perplexed. Surely you're not trying to compare the Bucs with the 49ers are you? Hell the two teams are "solar systems" apart. Inotherwords, lossing to a vastly superior team is no great shame, and a 1 point victory over a nobody team is no big deal at all. Some teams just have the other guys number. San Fran quickly dispenced with NO if last years playoff, and the Saints have had Atlanta's MO for years! Hard to escape your past!
New Orleans + 3.5
Once again, a well-written analysis by Sammy Ace. I'm really shocked that Vue has some reasoning behind his pick though. Baffled. Sure wish he'd stop referencing his "database" though. Give that nonsense a rest.
I don't think Sammy was comparing the Bucs to 49ers at all, Vue. And for you to say that those 2 teams are "solar systems" apart, well that's just going too far especially when those who understand the NFL will agree that the level of competition nowadays is mediocre. There are no powerhouses. Oh and by the way, the Bucs team is same team that nearly beat Super Bowl Champs in their own house. You know - the Giants - the same team that DESTROYED the 49ers. So it's really not a matter of comparing teams on a talent level as much as it is on a "situational" level which is what Sammy aims to do in most of his posts.
Hopefully, some of that made sense to you Vue. and hopefully, u clear your head of all those stats in your "database". hahahahaha
Bet Atlanta. Saints are done for the year.

Mr. Vue, almost didn't recognize you w that new icon. I'm not belittling the saints at all. In fact, I picked them to end the Falcons undefeated season 3 weeks ago. I respect this team even though they lost at home to the Chiefs earlier this year.
The point I was trying to make is that there are certain teams in the NFL (i.e. the 49ers and Steelers) that have very physical offensive lines, and have front-7's that play at a different level of intensity than most NFL teams. I imagine the Saints have a little more bumps and bruises than usual and now they have to head out to Atlanta on short rest and play the Falcons where Matt Ryan is 31-4. Its not a very strong angle, but I just don't think the Saints have what it takes to win this game.
Its been a roller coaster of a season for them. Losing their coach, the whole scandal with Vilma and other players, and the slow 0-4 start. It took one hell of an effort for them to get back to .500, and then they just lost a must win home game against a very physical 49er team. Now its back to the drawing board where they hope they can get back to .500 again versus an Atlanta team that wants to avenge their previous loss, clinch their division championship, and take one step closer to home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Not to mention, its a prime time game and the Falcons have not had a statement win at home yet (every game decided won by one score or less). Who better to make this statement with than against their division rival Saints who are sporting a 4 game winning streak against them?
My prediction is that the Falcons have a major statement game and crush the playoff hopes of their division rival at the same time.
Good luck and feel free to fade me. Everyone has made valid points on the Saints and the underdog is 6-1 ATS in the last 7.
