I was shocked when I saw the line for this game. NO only favored by 0.5 points if not for BAL playing at home. I'll be all over NO on this one.
It's time to wake up folks and realize that Baltimore is no longer an elite defense and hasn't been for almost two seasons. They're good alright with studs like Suggs and Ngata and occasionally Lewis and Reed still getting it done but nothing to scared of.
Baltimore is rather an offensive minded team with good dependable receivers and great rushing with Rice.
The only problem is that NO is better on both sides of the ball. Brees and Payton will spread out 3-4 WR's and a TE and still be able to run or screen with their RB's. NO are more explosive than Houston and they can play defense. I know the game is played in Baltimore but that's about the only thing the Ravens' have going for them.
A Saints team on a streak and you get 2 points, come on people!

This is the first time this season that Saints, The Defending NFL Champs, are actually the Road-dogs. WHAT? Because they're in Baltimore Territory? Give me a break. Saints have proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Yah, sure they haven't covered ATS in all their games but common, the Dogs?
Saints have all their weapons back on both sides of the ball. We saw what they did with the Steelers but once again, Steelers are over rated IMO and so is the Ravens "D". If Houston can wear the Ravens defense out by the 3rd quarter, I can't wait to see what Brees will do to these guys. Houston for 10 minutes of play sorta looked like the Saints all game long. It is obvious that the Ravens "D" has a weakness and that is their Pass Rush and defending against it. Saints will destroy these guys on both sides of the ball. Sean Peyton is by far much more superior to Ravens Head Coach. Brees the better QB. Saints defense is also that much better so how can the Saints be the Dogs?

This line reminds me of last year when the saints were -1 playing the pats and the pats got broke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This line usually means somebody is getting snapped. Both these teams havent really played anybody. A few quality wins but mostly wins over nonplayoff bound teams. Balt for the large!

I need a N O loss and my Eagles to win......you know, for playoff seeding!!! That is why I'll take Balt. Besides the fact it's outside, Baltimore has a bruising D, Saints don't play too many teams as physical and balanced as Baltimore, Saints on the road in basically a pick it game........and a few other reasons........but most importantly, because I want Philly with a 1 or two seed in the NFC!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your SD bet... I won as well.... fresh off that thread and thinking that it was just too easy... when was the last time the entire thread had the same side and it hit...
on to this game..
I can't fathom how the Saints are getting points in this... if anything it should be a pick'em but I imagined the Saints would be giving 2-3 points... especially after that Monday Night game.... I gotta believe that amount of snaps the defense was on the field will effect them this Sunday....
I'm calling out the Ravens passing attack.... I think the only reason they got away with that many points is because the Texans defense is just that awful....
on the flip side I think that the Texans offense is very good.... but compared to the Saints offense?
there seems to be a consensus that the Ravens will be able to run on the Saints... I just don't understand that logic...
the Saints run defense has problems with bigger backs such as a Peyton Hillis... Micheal Turner.... Steven Jackson.... ect...
Ray Rice does not fit into that category.... plus have you seen the way the former Jet Vilma has been playing?
he's been lights out...
Saints take this one.... Ravens won't be able to stop Brees and Company... there are just too many weapons and I'm not sold on Joe Flacco and the Ravens offense either
GL TO ALL!
Saints +1.5

Saints are a dome team, there last 5 games have been no test for them as they have played no team worth mentioning. They no go OUTSIDE the dome and play in tough weather conditions that do not favor a team who like the fast track and to go up and down the field and throw the ball.....Ravens like games in cold weather and are more physical. Physical teams win these games.....
Ravens -1 probably the best play on the board this week

Saints is a Dome Team? Common man! Its not about dome team or grass, turf, weather or any of those things. Its about who is the better team period. Who's playing well and you cant just take the last game or the one before that. It is about who has the better QB and especially the coach. In this matchup, Saints has all that and a bag of chips. Saints win where they have to play period. I don't care if they had to play in Antarctica, Saints win SU. Brees is up there with the elite QB's along with Brady, Manning, and Rivers. Flaco does not have that status yet but there is potential.

your a saints fan so already Im ingnoring this comment, but yes weather conditions do come into play during football games....hence the superbowl is played in climates where the weather will not factor into the game. But on Sunday, weather will be a factor to a saints team who prefers a dome and a nice fast slick track

NO has better chance to win away than Eagle do

Kinda sick how everyone is favoring NO. A few points here are:
1. NO can score on Grass. They average 24 ppg
2. Baltimore tired? All because of a Nationally Televised Game where the Defense looked tired - does that mean they are tired here?? Public perception and bias leaking into the following week.
3. Baltimore did lead Houston by 21 and like against Steelers, played to defend the score and nearly paid again. Do they do it again?? I think they will. Flacco is not the smartest QB and has a low IQ under pressure.
4. Drew Brees and his picks. Brees is the one reason why NO have not won comfortably. I think he will be picked over and over in this one.
This is a NO PLAY Game as Bookies will have done alot of work on this one and they are actually telling you based on their "work", Baltimore are proper favorites.
The sharp money should be on Baltimore. Not the Saints.
If you need action - look for the total to stay under 44. Both teams have good D and the game will be decided by no more than 3-6 points.
The Saints are not going to be blowing out Baltimore. if they win they will do so by 1 possession and the same with Baltimore.
