Strange line.Dont see why this wont be any different than the Jacksonville game.NO wins again and covers.

been riding new orleans the last 3 weeks, am hopping off the train,carolina w/ revenge and at home in a series they have owned against the spread, just a regular play on the panthers, texans are not the sucker bet after all it's the saints!

Be careful with this one!

I see Newton running for 1st downs already and this could be a week where he gets a lot of attention (after a big win/great game).

I had NO last week  but I am too "scurred" to touch this.

     Inspite of his gaudy stats, Cam has only 1 win (against woeful Jacksonville) to show for his efforts. It's going to take a little more than just the likes of Mr. Newton, to beat a legitimate contender. 2 of their last 3 covers were accounted by because of "garbage time" scores against the Pack &  da '   Bears. I see the Saints defense keeping the Panthers in check, while securing the victory, without raising a sweat!  Since the only one scoring will be New Orleans, the UNDER is the proper play here! I think it's pretty much a given,in a divisional contest, that Brees & company, will not be giving any "garbage" gifts ,either. Covering under a TD is well in the reach of a potent offense like the Saints.

Carolina is the sexy pick but I'll stick with the numbers....Carolina has one win in their last eight vs teams with winning records (granted half of those games are without newton). Carolina is 0-4 vs nfc south. Saints will be ready for the newton show....saints cover.

Liking Carolina here at + 7  this was the same spread against the jags last week who can't score , different story here panthers got the run game going finally last week i look for more of the same this week i even like them as outright winners here possibly but the + 7 is where im going.

NO -6.5 (1.5u) - the better play may be the Over.  Both offenses have been piling up the yards (NO/454 and CAR/440 ypg).  Cam will be looking for another open backdoor, but my bet is that Carolina's 18th ranked redzone scoring percentage (43%) will be its Achilles heel. Saints 33-Panthers 21.

CAROLINA +6.5

Look for Cam Newton to run for easy 1st downs & light-up the Saints defense for at least 300 total yards. Panthers keep it close.

Also, this will be a high-scoring game. Therefore, my money is on the OVER (51)

I dont usually do this but I like the same game tease here.  Give me NO on a pick and the over.  Also, and let me preface this by saying I have no foundation for this other than a feeling,  I think Cam gets dinged up in this one.

Saints will have to play better pass defense to cover this one.  I pretty much agree with Vue on this one, no garbage points for the Panthers this week = Under the total ...........
