Normally I would say under. But I don't see much defense. Give me over 50. Unlike the Lions and Pats game, this one has two offenses that can score points. I see a 28-24 type game here.

This is the New Orleans Saints of the 09'-10' season that I know. Although they have played majority of this season without (RB) R. Bush, (RB) P. Thomas, (TE) J. Shockey, (S) D. Sharper and (CB) M. Jenkins, they have done pretty well all considering their handicap. The most impressive win was of course against Pittsburgh Steelers. Pitt's Defense is no joke and considered one of the elite squad when talking about "who has the best defense". In that game and most of this season, N.O. Saints "D" has become a force to be reckoned with. They have kept this team alive while struggling in the offensive side of the ball.
This Thanks Giving will be a game to watch and see for the first time in a long time, the Defending Champions at their best as most, if not all the core of this offense back in action. Bush, Thomas, Shockey and Sharper will be starting. Now we will see the high powered offense we all know. Brees has been averaging 300 yards through the air but I expect that paired with 250 yards on the ground. Bush will be back returning punts and kick-offs as well as lining up in the "I" formation. Shockey of course will be there on 3rd down conversions along w/ play action to Meachum, Thomas or Bush. Dallas has not yet played an offense as versatile as this team and will bring them back to reality. Sure they beat the G-Men but the G-Men really beat themselves in that game as they took them for granted. Dallas beat Detroit Lions. "SO WHAT". The Lions? Nuff Said. Blow Out! Blow Out! Blow Out!
NO Saints 40+ points
Dallas 18 maybe 20 Saints -3.5 XXTRA LARGE

On the surface, the Saints appear to be the obvious play. However, with the Cowboys showing a little life, coupled with the fact that they play conference foes extremely well (ATS), the game makes for a lot of uncertaincies. Therefore, I wouldn't take a side, but most likely would consider playing the UNDER.

O.K., I know it's the high powered Saints, but the Cowboys are now playing like they should have been all season long. They've got a coach that they and the fans respect now, and everybody's pretty much healthy and playing - except Romo, but Kitna's not much different than him anyways.
Plus I think Reggie Bush being back actually will slow this offense down some.
I love home dogs, especially the Cowgirlies, especially on Thanksgiving playing for the Thanksgiving pride and tradition - I gotta take the Cowgirls +3.5

Ha....I remember that game...it was Ron Dayne wasnt it??? with that big run at the end of the game???
Anyways for you people who think Dallas is starting to heat up...doesnt it seem like the Saints are heating up as well??? Statistically NO blows Dallas out of the water.

You are by far the biggest Dallas hater I have seen, If you look back to the Giants Cowboys thread you rattled off how the Giants were going to beat the Cowboys and look what happened there.

Before I saw this line and knew about the match-up this week.... I said I'll take NO as long as the spread is under 6.5...
I think the Saints get revenge against the Cowboys in big D.... I never bet the revenge factor and am actually against it completely but with John Kitna I'll take a hungry Saints team making a playoff run....
3.5 is a gift.... I'm going with the obvious pick on this one...
Lions +6.5
Jets -9
2 favs and a dog for thanksgiving....
GL TO ALL!

Hey Vue!
Why the under? I know that Saints "D" is strong but the offense averages 32.5 per game in last 2 games played as visitors. 65-9 is the #s for those last 2 games as visitors. They scored those points with out Bush or Thomas. Now that Saints have their multi-threat of a player who lines up in 5 different positions will bring a whole new dynamic for Saints offense and a big headache for defensive coordinators. I think that this is the game where Saints will look like the Saints team that won the Superbowl last season. They may cover the over trhemselves and bring the Cowgirls back to reality. I agree that they seem to have a new spark but this defense has not yet faced an offense such as Brees and Company in full force. they win by double digits.

If Wade Phillips was still the coach it would be an easy Saints pick for me. Dallas has a lot of talent on the field but didn't start off the season so well. It seems as though after the firing of Phillips it set off some sort of spark for the Cowboys.
I still feel that the Saints has the edge on the Cowboys with the Cowboys having Kitna behind center. The Saints defense should be able to get pressure on Kitna and force him to hurry his throws.
If the Saints defense cannot put pressure on Kitna then the Saints might be in trouble. Kitna having targets like Austin, bryant, and Witten to go to will be too much to handle for the Saints defense if you give any qb too much time.

I'm obviously a homer and will not offer a pick on a side on this one but Dallas is 3-7 for a reason? Yeah, the reason is that they had WAY too laid back of a culture and quite possibly the WORST head coach in the history of the NFL. This is NOT the same team as you can see by their 2-0 start under Garrett with Kitna as the starter.

You offer little insite to any Cowboys game, just go stay in your dream world and think the Ginats are the best team in the NFL.
Giants are not the best team in the NFL, but they are better than the Cowbillies. Giants 6-4 vs. Cowbillies 3-7, soon to be 3-8. Your record is who you are.
Talk about dream worlds, mark my words, come July Dallas will again to picked to be favored to win the NFC east despite the fact they have not done anything in the last 15 years.
My insight into the Cowbillies is this every year there is a big build up on how much talent they have, hey, this is the NFL every team has talent. Miles Austin got alot of press in the off season, where is he? Austin, Crayton and Hurd are the same guy. Dallas signed him to a 6 yr 54 million dollar deal, they wasted their money.
Jerry Jones has to show his mug at every game, what's up with that? Some teams i have never seen the owner, but not Dallas.
Dallas is a really bad team, that works the hype, smoke and mirrors and their fans swallow every bit of it. Please NFL grow a backbone and take Dallas out of the NFL east, what has Dallas got in common with NY, Philly and Washington being 1,500 miles away?
It's too bad the national has to watch a couple of 2-8 & 3-7 teams play on Thanksgiving day, but i give thanks that Dallas is 3-7.
Saints 42, Dallas 17, Dallas last minute 4th quarter TD.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!
