Detroit´s last chance to save their face infront of their home crowd. You got to beleive they will give their 110 % effort at home to avoid becoming one road game away from the first 0-16 undefeated team in history.
Not to mention NO has just been eliminated and they are probably only thinking about going back home for xmas.
The dolphins saved face last year in front of their home crowd in the same situation.
Lets all take the LIONS no matter hot horrible they are!! This is their super bowl and they will win it!
Its a diamond in the rough +250.
Good luck to all!

I have a lot of questions coming into this game....
Is New Orleans -6.5 against one of the worst teams in NFL history manna from Heaven or just an early xmas gift from Vegas
Will this game be over by halftime?
There is a reason why over 70% (I think 73%) of public money is on the Saints. I don't care if the Saints aren't making the playoffs. Drew Brees is being mentioned for MVP and that's enough for me. (hey that rhymes, so that to yourself 3 times and high and tell me you don't laugh) WTF....why are you analyzing this game? I've never had this much faith in a 7-7 NFL team in my life, But let's think about this..it's the # 1 rated offense against the 2nd to last rated D. Don't fall for that crap about "oh Detroit has to win sometime". No they don't. Detroit...really is that bad. If New Orleans doesn't tee Off on Detroit I will be shocked and dissappointed as a NFC fan. (dallas fan here)
Defense wins championships but Offense shuts the crowd up.
You will be s****** bricks if you bet on Detroit and there will be no bailout for you.

I'll take the Saints here. Detroit is improving each week but I still think they're going to go 0-16. The line will probably move up another 1.5 points before Sunday. Don't really care if Reggie isn't playing. Pierre Thomas is a more complete running back then Bush is. I'd like to know what Culpepper's status is going to be for the game.

With Orlovsky starting under center, the only game he hasn't covered the spread against was Washington back in Week 8... and that spread was only missed by 1 point. While both teams seasons are over, Orlovsky is looking to showcase himself as either the starter in Detroit, or a better situation somewhere else. He'll be leaving it all out there.. and if you don't agree with that... don't you think the #1 offense against an awful defense should be favored by more than 6.5? If nothing else, that line is fishy... Detroit and the over all day.

Webleedgreen, he didn't cover in Minnesota when he ran out of the endzone and the Lions lost 12-10! I really think the Saints will score at will here. The Saints and the over look solid.

No one wants to be the 1 in a 1-15 season record. I think Lions go down and Brees cushions passing stats with eye on breaking some season record (I think Marino's).

Bingo13, When Detroit played Minnesota in week 6, the Lions were a 13 point dog. They covered by 11

I currently have my very own sportsbook there. It's a pretty cool website. This website allows me to set my very own odds on various sports so my friends and players can place bets on it. I'm a neighborhood bookie so instead of making my phonecalls & write down numerous of bets, I can now just manage my bussiness online. By doing this it saves me time and betting errors. I just though to let all those bookies like me know about this. Check it out, you can thank me later.
Please, please, please, please, PLEASEdon't tell me we're going to start seeing a bunch of SPAM crap in these threads!!!!!! Let's stick to the topics at hand, people! Go advertise your "website" somewhere else - I'm sure the owners of covers.com don't want to see you advertising another sports book on their site!!!! Too bad we can't find out if this is even a real person, or an advertising "bot".
Anyways....... Neither team has anything to play for except the Lions have their "Pride" - (HA!! Get it!!! "Lions" - - "Pride"!?!?! HA!! I kill me sometimes!!) This is the Lions final home game of the season & Orlovsky to Johnson looked pretty good last week on the road against a much better defense than the Saints have. I know the Lions haven't been winning, but they've been covering. Like someone said earlier, look at what happened to the Dolphins last year. I gotta go Lions.....
Oh, and by the way "brady2moss" - if you are indeed a "real" person - you might want to change that to "cassel2welker"

respect to all and may the graces of gambling shower every person bold enough 2 wager. does n-e- 1 remember the lions and bucs a few weeks back? lions led by 17 early, had like a 10 point cushion and i thought i had the steal of the week. then garcia and da buc offense, yes i said it, went on a roll and lit thissorry excuse for a lion on fire. the lions have no d-line, no linebackers, and no secondary. brees, the number 1 deep passer in this fine league, will torch these lame cats and that 17 the colts gave lats week couldnt even save these boys this week. dont worry, count money...........

Lions and the ML here. I think they let it all out on both sides of the ball and win against an bad road team in the Saints who are done in terms of playoff hopes.
