Drew Brees is a machine through the air 300 is a bad game for him at this rate. The difference here is that KC is one of a few teams whose run D is so bad the Saints can run on them too. They don't have any weapons on offense to keep up as the scoreboard starts lighting up. Saints only need to win by 2 FGs to cover.

This is the Saints second road game in as many weeks, and they are a different team on the road, especially on grass.  They're 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS on the road.  I read somewhere that KC has a suprisingly good record against NFC opponents at home.  Thigpen has started to hit his stride and the Saints aren't world beater on D, so I'm rolling with the home team, taking the points and runnin with em'

It is undeniable how good Drew is but the Chief's defense is very underrated. Larry Johnson might be back. He hasn't played in this new offense before, let alone football in general for a month. I still think he will add a bit of depth to the Chiefs. I may even take the ML. Chiefs +5.5

With return of Bush, Saints should bounce back nicely from last week's lackluster performance against Atlanta.
 
Don't let KC's game against the under-achieving Chargers fool u..
Brees is much better quarterback than Rivers.

Might just lay off this game.
 
Seems like Shockey is back to his old tricks and not sure how K.C. reacts after Herm Shermhead went for the deuce when he didn't have to?

I'm leaning on NO  but KC has lost their last 3 by a combined 8 points. Herm has them playing strong and they are at home.
NO has them outmatched

KC is a horrible team.  That doesn't mean they can't cover though.  But

Saints are 9 - 2 ATS away after Falcons in their last 10.
They should eek out an ATS win in the "Show Me State".

SAINTS looking at remaining winless on the road  vs KC team on upswing playing last 3 quality foes quite close.Should be a high scoring affair. KC 34 NO 31GL

you make a great case to back KC and then you take the saints?

does it worry any of you saints backers that new orleans is 0-4 SU on the road this season?  they can't win away from home.  i said the same thing last week when everyone was taking them over the falcons.  bush is defintely out and KC is doing just enough to hang around in recent games.  the past three weeks thay have loses to san diego (20-19), tampa bay (30-27), and the ny jets (28-24).  you can make the argument that all 3 are better than the saints.  this game has no play written all over it for me, but if i was to wager on it KC would be the way i would go.  GL

Really? Well how about the Chiefs against Tampa? Should that not "Fool Us" either. Or the game against the Jets at NY? That souldn't "Fool Us" either, right?

Chiefs win outright! Rough write-up bud. Going with the Brees is better than Rivers angle.
