NO ONE but manning showed up to the game against huston. Indy will not give new england a 2 win head start over them. They know huston have a tough challenge ahead of them and the game is in indianapolis. they will get back in the Division. I'm expecting a win by two touch downs here.
Indy -5.5

Indy is just 4-6 ATS in thier L-10 September games so to those who claim no way I say beware. Indy might win the game but a cover is anything but a given. The NYGiants are 7-2 ATS in thier L-9 September games and 7-4 ATS in thier L-11 games as dogs overall. In this matchup between Manning QB's I am backing Eli with the NGY+5.5 points.
My Guesstimate - Indy-27 NYGiants-24

I too am one of those that think colts will have a down yr, but tha gaints didnt look that tuff to me last week, yes they won big, but car shoot them self more than the gaints shot them. Colts wasnt that bad in the hou game, at Home, i see a 7 pt win at tha lowest by tha colts.

waiting till sunday to grab giants +7, lately everytime colts plays a good D in reg season, they only win by 2pts on average, granted thats usually 3-4 D's but Giants D is going to be solid this year, pass rush and secondary, LB's will be supported

I expected to see this line open a TD to be honest. I see no way that the G-Men hang with Peyton and Co. in this one. Eveyone is talking about Bob Sanders being out and how great he is and how this defense isn't the same without him. He's from my hometown and I've followed his career since his Iowa days. He's now officially missed more games than he's played in his career! Bottom line is this team knows how to win without him. They're something crazy like 25-1 in the last two seasons when they've played their starters. As for the Giants, this team is clearly a mess. Yes, they won opening day in their new stadium, but Carolina esseantially handed them the game by turning the ball over on several scoring opportunities in the red zone. Their defense has holes all over it and they are just generally a banged up squad. Give me the pissed off Colts team in their home opener against the Giants all day long. Indy-5.5 for me

Colts lost @ Houston because they couldn't stop the run. Houston runs the ball? Despite being #30 in rushing last yr, Arian Foster had 231 yds in the gm and Houston ran 42 times vs 17 pass atts. Go figure.
Peyton and the Colts racked up the passing yds with 419 and 40-57 (70%) and 3 tds 0 ints.
Eli on the otherhand threw 3 ints (a couple were tipped balls) and 3 tds in their win over the Panthers. But... he seemed a little off target throwing passes too high a lot. Just ask Kevin Boss who is out this week with a concussion putting 2nd yr T Beckum in at TE for Giants.
If Matt Moore hadn't throw 3 ints (all in the endzone!) then the game would have been much closer than the 31-18 final.
Unless Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs team up for 300 yds rushing...
Eli won't be able to keep up with Peyton as the...
Colts will cover the -5.5 at home in the Lucas Oil Stadium
(it's amazing that 2 brothers and a dad all played QB in the NFL)
