This game will be in Detroit at Ford Field. Minnesota will lose. The Giants have to stay up with the Beagles. So if Manning can keep from turning the ball over several times, they will win by a TD.

I actually like the Vikings with Tavaris Jackson a little more than if they were starting Favre. Now since the game is at a neutral site... the Giants look like a pretty good bet.
The video footage of the dome crashing is kind of an ominous precursor to what may happen on MNF.
The bottom line is the favorites have been covering like crazy on MNF all year long with the exception of Indy @ Tenn last week.
I think that since this is on a neutral field and the Giants have a lot more motivation here, the edge definitely goes to them as far as that's concerned. But this is the NFL and all these players are highly paid professionals so motivation will always be present for both teams.
What scares me about backing the giants -4 is because the Vikings are still largely the same team they were last year and to put it plainly, they were dominant as fuck last year. With their new coach I think they're playing with a little more fire.
Lean : Giants -4....
Haven't pulled the trigger. Input would be appreciated.

This is the first meaningful game played between these 2 teams in a long while. I think the Giants cover & over. Farve will play a series and dropout. TJ and have to run to keep the Vikings alive. Peterson will get yards, not enough to matter.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

The Giants are going to get even more play due to the nuetral venue aspect.
But you need to look at teams they have beaten namely Washington and Buffalo. Please........these are 2 teams that NY Giants beat up anyday.
Vikes struggled against Washington whereas NY just completely punched them out albeit at home.
I think you gotta take the MONEY LINE here. The Vikes could get a backdoor cover if Manning starts his usual dumbass turnovers from dumb passes.
Then again he could actually start the game with dumbass passes too.
I think Diehl and Nicks may be set to go as well and Manning is getting more confident with his alternative WRs.
Giants 27 Vikings 13 (in a perfect Gambling world)
PS: I will post regular plays for NBA on my thread if you are still following. Huge bet on Chicago (vs Indiana tomorrow) with or without Granger. Possibly line at -7 but i'm taking the ML.

Minnesota for whatever reason absolutely owns the G-Men in this series lately going back to the thumping collins & co put on the vikings in the NFC title game in 2001.
If #4 starts I absolutely love the g-men in this spot. Favre has zero mobility and that beastly giants D-line may put favre out of commission permanently if he drops back too much.
Then again...this smells much like a few prime time games of recent memory. G-men up 24-14 with 3 minutes to go. Vikes go right down the field for the easiest touchdown I've ever seen for the late steam.

The backdoor cover is what I always worry about when laying more than a FG in NFL.
The neutral field makes me worry less though.

Stats only takes you so far and this game is truly an anomaly. Does anyone have stats on a home game being moved to a neutral site after a one day delay? I guess not.
Obviously the Vikings lose home field advantage and I think the Giants will win but not by more than 3 points. Vikings plus the points!
