New England coming off a Loss? and at home? GL betting the rent money against them.
I'm riding on the over 52.5 due to New England's potent O but porus D. The Giants are just too dang inconsistent. yeah, I know they have a BIG LEAD in their div...but they still leave a bad taste in your mouth. I'm not betting on either side, but if I had to ...I would take New England -9. I'm thinking the pats still haven't forgiven this team for the 2007 SB upset. I'm still riding high on that one. I wouldn't be shocked if Tom Brady has won his last sb. Just look at Peyton Manning and tell me if anything lasts forever.

I guess I'm here to define "Pretty Lackluster" - and away we go...........
Barely escaping the friggin' Cardinals?
LOSING - at home mind you - to the Sea-Turkeys???????
Barely escaping the WINLESS MIAMI DOLPHINS - ONCE AGAIN, AT HOME!??!?
Who have the Giants really "beat" this year? - I'm talking where they looked like a playoff-caliber team....... Buffalo at home with a last minute field goal? The Rams?!?! For God's sake!?!?!? The RAMS?!?!? O.K. - so you beat the "Dream Team" - and there's why you get the "Pretty Lackluster" definition as opposed to the "Absolute Sucky" one...........
Hey - I was with you when the Giants "Beat" the Pats in the Superbowl - but from a current betting aspect - I gotta think Belichick and Co. don't lose 2 in a row...............

Giants have been overachieving for some time now. They played flat against Miami which leads me to believe they show up for this one. Giants to cover here at +10 and who knows maybe they take this one in another overachiever performance. If you keep Brady off the field the Pats are not very impressive.

The Patriots haven't gotten over their Super Bowl loss to the Giants back a few years ago. That loss still haunts them. Take the Giants this week (as much as they suck).

Im putting Giants in my parlay. They will stay within 9 I think. NE has an awful pass defense. Prolly take the over also. This is going to be a shootout at the ok corral.

Eli and the Giants play better on the road. If the Dallas Cowbillies can keep it close playing NE the NYGs can win outright, +9.0.
"pretty lackluster Giants team??" What has a Brady lead team done the last 5 years, choke.
The Giants?? Don't make me laugh! I suppose you consider them a "live" dog play here. Vegas is begging for NY money. I'd be embarrassed to call myself a Giants fan and getting 9 points to cover. The G-Men are a shell of their PAST great teams. Instead of going to Foxboro this weekend, they should go to their nearest church, drop to their knees, and pray to
the Good Lord that the timeclock in their stadium still works, or the Dolphins would have flew home a victor!!
NEW ENGLAND - 9

The thing about NE is the media thinks Brady is Jesus and that drives the hype. NE's defense is weak, Giants got 9 points and play better on the road. Throw in the Bills beat NE and the NYGs beat the Bills and Eagles who the media is falling back in love with.
The game has not started yet and the Giants already have a TD and a safety.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

There's some pretty good points in this thread. When it comes to the PATS, I usually bet them or not bet at all. I can see Eli picking apart this defense as the Pats are 2nd to last in total defense in front of Indy & last in the league in Pass Defense. The Giants defense is no better & Brady is the QB. My lean is definitely for the OVER, due to the atrocious defense these teams have.

Over 51 is the play with 2 high octane offenses, NYG 375 Y/GM and NE 437 Y/GM. That being said NE is giving up 424 Y/GM , the worst in the league on Sunday's sheet.

Over seems like a lock here.. Pats giving 9 is alot here, especially against the Giants. My decision is based on redzone scoring percentage.. Giants to cover and Pats to win by 7.
