just because your last name is "manning" doesnt mean your great! lol
Eli is highly overated in my opinion..the monday night game helps my point.
With the G-Men still hurting, and if Vick plays.......The eagles should have this one easy
Eagles-28
Giants-17
overated? Vick is overrated, what has he ever won? America wants heroes and will make everyone one. Watch the last Eagle/Giant game, the NYGs have Vick figured out. Manning is a ironman, i bet he finishes the game, how about Vick?
If you like the Eagles bet the house.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Manning can't be overrated. Most Giant fans (and everyone else) know that he is nothing special. They may have had Vicks number LAST year, that means nothing with all the injuries the Giants have.
But It doesn't even matter if Vick plays. Unfortunately the Giants pass defense is so bad that Philly's offense won't need to run the ball.
I am a Giant's fan but I can't wait for the line to open to load up on the Eagles this week. Final Score: Eagles 38 Giants 17

Manning is overrated I dont care that he has a super bowl ring he's D won that game and if it wasnt for that amazing CATCH you would be singing a Different tune, If you remember last time he played the Eagles he threw an INT and lost a fumble (trying to slide LOL) on the same down. I will MAX bet the chit out the the Eagles only way I lose is turn overs which nobody can predict anyways

this is the highest spread I can remember from these 2 teams.....
Philly can't stop the run.... ask Steven Jackson, ask Cadillac Williams, ask Michael Turner....
Bradshaw and Jacobs will wear down the undersized defensive line and the Gmen will control the ball unless Gilbride starts being a moron and calls bombs down the field....
The Giants coaching staff knows not to attack the Philly corners.... the way to beat Philly is on the ground and the Giants ground game has always been tops in the league.... when they go to the air it will be down the middle just like Matt Ryan did towards the end of the game.... I expect Stokley to have a big game....
Giants have a chance to win this game with their "healthy" defensive front.... did you see the difference when Tuck returned to action?
I'm taking the points and throwing a small wager on the moneyline just in case.....
I just think Philly is over-hyped and I'm not impressed with their defense at all..... they do have the tools to run away with this game if Vick/Jackson/Maclin get into a rythem but I just think 9 is too much for a division rivalry.....
GL TO ALL!

How did the Giants get there, first it was against Garcia, the Giant killer in TB, then Tony Romo in Dallas, talk about overrated. Farve in Greenbay. All the while the media was talking about how bad the Giant seconary was, make shift. Then came the 18-0 Patriots, setting a NFL point record and Tom 50 TD Brady, i remember Brady saying, "Giants say we are only going to score 17 points" they were wrong they only scored 14.
So it was more than just one catch. Manning overrated? No one's talking about him, they are talking about Romo, Vick and Brady, even thou Romo & vick have not done anything and Brady nothing in the last 5 years. Everybody needs heroes. Vick beat the NYGs last season and went on to lose the next 3 games. Now he's playing hurt and one good shot, he's out. You'll be able to tell early if his bell is still ringing.
Eli's fumble was in the 2009 season. Watch the tape of last season's last NYG/Eagles game, again the NYGs have Vick figured out. If the NYGs win you won't still say Vick is overrated, everyone needs a hero, real or not.
9 points in a rival game that the favorite's QB may not finish the game? There's value in the NYGs.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Yea thanks for the angle guru. I think there is a 50% chance of rain plus with vick being banged up he may not be his usual run and gun self, and Im sure that eagles D got their asses chewed out all week after their offense scored over 30 and they still lost. Last point, Giant receivers are banged up- I think nicks and stokely are the only healthy ones. Looks like under 48 especially if its raining.

Breaka - I highlighted your one-liner above. This is pretty much all you need to know when making this bet. I don't care if Sage Rosenfels starts - it's still a Giants/Eagles game and there's a lot of rivalry and pride on the line.....
9 points?!?!? I'll take that anyday.........

Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) - Previously: #7- Vick has now made 14 starts with the Eagles. In his first seven starts, he had only one turnover. In the next seven starts, he's had 12 turnovers (seven interceptions, five fumbles).
Overrated.

I'm sorry, but Eli is very much over-rated, and it seems that most people here agree!, he is an average QB not great...NOT PEYTON. and at this time I would take a healthy Mike Vick over Eli any day. I believe with or without vick the eagles will win the match.

I like the eagles here, if vick plays of course. he looked great against the falcons until he was concussed. Giants are a struggling team right now. I won money with them last week, but it took a defense td and them playing the rams, with a lot of rookie wr drops. The giants secondary is young and in trouble, while maclin the number 2, is destroying teams. i think he had 170+ yds last week. Plus the giants offense is struggling in the most important stat.......3rd down conversions. Eagles -9

That's just it, Vick is not healthy. Vick and Romo are being pressured to play because these are big games.

Last year in philly the under was 6-3 including playoffs, and the teams they played when it went over were the falcons, colts and texans. Only once was the o/u more than 48. I know this is the year of the over, but at the end of the year you know the o/u will split at 50%. I just think the giants have no chance to move it thru the air against those philly corners, its gonna be ground and pound. Cmon rain-I'll take the under
