think the difference in this game will be the QBs. ya jets D got to brady but brady does not try to scramble if he gonna get hit he just goes down. Big will not go down he will fight his way out.

dont know why anyone would bet against the steelers @ home with the line this low.  Makes no sense to me.

It wasn't Heath Miller who dropped that late TD pass in the endzone, he was out with a concussion. It was his back-up, some no-name dickhead. Miller, doesn't drop 'em. If he had been in that game, he makes the catch and we're having a different conversation.  Folk, the Jets kicker, like their punter can't be real confident right now, wait until they start kicking in the winds of Hienz Field. The Pittsburgh kicker, Suisham blew a 42 yder so he may have confidence issues himself. He does have a checkered past. I think having Troy P. and Miller back is enough to make the difference in this game. If that's not enough looking at Big Ben's history of success in the play-offs vs Sanchez limited, rocky play-off history. The Steelers should cover.

3 weeks before the end of the reg season I made one risky bet as I thought two undervalued teams would turn it on bigtime in the playoffs.  I wagered that the Packers would meet the Jets in the SB.  Odds of this were 140 to 1.   I figured it to be more of a 15 to 1 chance or less.  I have a great feeling the Pack will take care of business.  So damn this game is gonna be rough on my nerves.  J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets!!!   lol   Looks like if GB wins I'm gonna have to bet a big amount on the Steelers just to win big either way.  But really feel the Jets take this one.

I get a FREAKING KICK out of all the people that say, "OH, I went 4-0 last week!!!" You say that & post it AFTER the games have ended!!! To tell you the truth, by whoever saying that, I don't FREAKING believe a word that any of you say!!! Much, much, much respect to FAT NASTY and his Jets.  I've made money on them in both their playoff games, and I thank them for that.  Rex has done an amazing job preparing and executing against the offensive juggernauts of the AFC, now they must go against a PITTSBURG squad w/ an adequate offense and a SUPERB defense.  My pre-playoff blueprints have the JETS and BALTIMORE as almost identical foes to any team, with BALT a slight edge in the offensive department.  No arguments that PITT started off slow against Baltimore, as that often occurs w/ playoff teams w/ first round byes.

Listen all.  No disrespect to the JETS (or the BEARS in the NFC), but their playoff tenures have YET to endure a team w/ a good defense.  The Colts, Patriots, and Seahawks are all closer to the "LAUGHER" end of the scale regarding defense !!  If you've sifted through the debris of either of the Jets games, tell me where they had to play "close to their vest" regarding their offensive playbook (THEY DIDNT), and that makes a difference.  Sorry Rex.  Glad to see your success in defying the odds against arguably the best 2 QB's in the game. And your Jets team is much respected by this capper, but to take your show to Hines Field this Sunday will be a totally different animal then you have faced in the playoffs thus far.  Just sayin !

Billy Waters??  On 60 minutes Waters says  he bets a team to move the line and then goes the other way.  Yea like anybody knows what Waters is doing hahaha

If it were Pitt playing NE at home right now - instead of the Jets - the line would be NE -8.5. The game would be a joke blowout with NE pumping up the scoreboard.

How can anyone think that Pitt is going to stand up to the Jets?

I was gonna ask you who you were rooting for last week in the Pats thread.....

I'm not betting the Jets because I haven't bet them and they have been winning and covering and I believe in the jinx....

but... I think 3.5 is a gift.... this is gonna be a close low scoring game and I would love to be getting the points in this match-up.... They are going to know where Troy is on the field the whole game and I don't for one second believe that last week was their superbowl... after being to an AFC Championship game the previous year, anything less than a superbowl berth is considered a failure... I don't buy into what some of these posters are saying about this NE superbowl nonsense..... both of these teams are coming to play.... big rivarly win, but superbowl?

the one thing about this game that scares me is the Jets special teams..... for the last 4 weeks of the regular season (starting after the Patriots blowout).... the special teams was playing exceptionally well in all phases... coverage, punting, kick returning, punt returning, field goals, and "HANDS TEAMS"(for all you Giants fans).....

They were terrible against the Colts (except Folk) and they were even worse against the Patriots (FOLK + Weatherford).... in the previous matchup there were several punts in the 10 yard line....

If this issue is not corrected then that edge which they had in the last matchup will definitely not be in their favor....

make no mistake, the loss to Brad Smith was HUGGGGGGGEEEEE.... LT fumbled his only wildcat snap and that is a go-to short yardage play......  and in the return game, Cromartie is running way too freely with the football, I feel like he's going to fumble it every time.... but he's pretty fast and gets pretty decent field position....
 
as for the offense and defense.... I think that these 2 teams are pretty even.... I understand the 3 point home advantage but as a bettor watching this team beat the Colts and the Patriots on the road I feel like getting points playing anywhere is good play.....

as bettor I like the underdog....

I cannot help but think back to 94 or maybe 95 when San Diego beat the Stelers at home. lost money on them too.  Earlier post spoke of the O line I notice that too in both the colts game and the Pats game  Sanchez would drop 4 steps back and sit  in the pocket for what seems forever no pressure what so ever.  This is what worries me about the game for me. The O line and the defense wins games  if the O line can give  him time and can make holes for L.t.  game over.

 

Over is my play  maybe a bit on the jets to jinx them too.
