Gimme the hawks at home with the 12th man in the rain.
O'hara, the center for the Giants is out...
so I'm betting against the back-up center in one of the hardest places to play in the rain against a crazy crowd.... Eli doesn't play well in bad weather all NYers who have seen him know this...
I'm a Jets fan but according to a few of my buddies they are not very good off of a bye week and they are all worried about this game....
add to this the fact that Eli has a problem snapping the ball in time and you'll get a few delay of game penalties...
if there is an over/under on false starts I'm taking the Over....
Yeah, the Seahawks suck on the road and even though I think the Oakland Raiders are better than public perception last week was embarassing....
but again, your looking at a Jekyl and Hide team...... they play tough at home....
mix into this the fact that Seattle has a much better special teams and you have a messy sloppy game.......
so I'll take the 6.5 point home dawg.... because hey, John Kitna almost back-door covered it.
Giants are good for at least 2 turnovers and Leon Washington can run one back at any given time....
and the GMEN are having issues with their punter.....
this has upset all over it...
I'm almost convincing myself to take the moneyline
GL TO ALL!

The only way SEA covers this game is with ST play, and they do play good ST. But even with a short field, SEA not gonna score that many points. I think the only TD for SEA will come late as a gift from the NYG or a ST TD.
SEA look horrible LW @OAK (I know one game is deceiving, and I know the are Jekyl and Hyde team), but that O is horrendous, The QB has no zip at all in his throws, everything were floaters. SEA has been winning with ST play, don't know how long they can do that. Maybe one more week with a bad ST in the NYG? Under might be the better play.
Game will go like this:
SEA - good field position but only FGs
NYG - bad field position but marches down to get FGs or TDs
NYG goes up and Couglin starts to RUN RUN RUN
SEA maybe gets a backdoor, but do you want to bet a game hoping for a backdoor with that O??

That back up center will do alright. Eli plays ok in weather it's just the wind that gives him trouble. GB was zero and he played ok.
The reason why Eli runs the clock down is so the defense will show itself.
Bradshaw leads the NFC in rushing, he's #4 in the NFL. Seattle can't run the ball that means they'll be pass happy. Their line gave up 8 sacks last week, Hassleback better watchout.
Loss of DE Bryant a big blow to Seahawks. That Giant line is a machine, if they lead early they'll just run the ball and tear down the clock.
Giants have a new return man Blackmon got to be better than the one they had.
One more thing, the Seahawks play in the worst Div. in the NFL, Seahawks, Cards, Rams & 49ers the champ out of there might be 8-8.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

True the NYG are horrible coming out of the bye and they have not had much success in SEA, but different team; different year. SEA will not be able to run on the Giants which will leave Hasselcrap vulnerable to the blitzes he will face most of the day. Koets the backup center is very capable, so i see no problem there. SEA should keep it close early but the Giants running game will wear them down in the end giving the Giants the cover. The only problem the Giants will have in this game is special teams which is horrible all around.

Also Hasselbeck may not play because of concussion. If he can't go Charlie Whitehurst gets the start; fresh meat for the G-men defense. Looks like they knock out QB 6 this week! Better jump on that 6.5 now before it goes up.

Giants take this game for sure. Marshawn will be shut down, seattle will put up some points through the air but the Giants will put up more. My strongest play on Sunday.

Was close to leaning Giants -6.5 with Hasselback - now he's gone. So Giants vs a team with no QB and a RB averaging less than 100 yards a game..is this still a question?

Took NYG -6.5 before the game was taken off the board. Giant keep the pace up and cover this by 10, especially with the Seattle backup...it's his 1st career start, so who knows how he'll be able to handle the noise to get plays called. I'm not too worried about the NYG center being out since Eli and him have been able to practice together this week so they can work on some easier counts.

SEA is 4-45 ats when loose su off a division win. they lost last week to oak 33-3 and they beat arizona at home 22-10 on 10/24/10.Stats and trends from Marc Lawrence nfl playbook 2008.

i can't see how seahawks are able to compete with a guy making his 1st nfl start at QB behind a banged up offensive line against one of the best defenses in the NFL. You will see Giants in the playoffs and possibly the NFC Championship Game. The Seacocks shouldn't even enter the conversation of playoffs.....
this could get ugly. Giants minus whatever
