With D-Mac out, this Raiders offense is just too easy to shut down. No way they waltz into Arrowhead with the playoffs still on the line for the Chiefs, and come away with a "W". Chiefs seem to be having that late resurgence - like the Chargers always do, while the Raiders are still the Raiders.
I thought about the "letdown" factor after the win over the Packers, but this is division rival Oakland, coming into Arrowhead, with the winner moving on and the loser going home, and, they already shut the Raiders out 28-0 in Oakland!! Remember Palmer's first "game" as a Raider??
Just ask yourself, at even money - basically no points to give or get - who's the better play here?
Chiefs even.................

I'm sorry Quad- I don't see it happening. Last time I looked the Raiders were ahead of the Chiefs in the standings. Inspite, of their sloppy, penalty filled play, Oakland is only a game behind Denver, in a series they both split. As I'm seeing it, a Broncos loss and a "must win" here, and the Raiders are back in the thick of it.
OAKLAND + 1

Ask yourself- For a team that just defeated the Packers at home, Vegas is certainly NOT giving much point spread "love" on the Chiefs. Maybe they know something you don't.

Doesn't the Chiefs now have Denvers starting QB in the begginning of the season? This is now Palmers 5th-6th game with the Raiders? If that fact is correct, I like the QB that has more experience with the team in this matchup and that would be Palmer.
Raiders SU win

You mean Kyle Orton? The guy who just went 23/31 for 300 yards no picks and a QB rating of 100.9 against the Green Bay Packers in his first start as a Chief?
That QB?
You mean the QB who's seen the Raiders twice a year for the past three years starting in Denver, so maybe he's seen a little game tape on the Raiders already and maybe knows what to expect?
That QB??
You mean the QB who's possibly fighting for a starting job in K.C., and maybe wants to show what he's made of?
Is that who we're talking about??

If the game was in Oakland, I'd probably be on your side, but this is Arrowhead!!!!

I am going to side with the Black and Silver. I believe the Raiders have Kyle Orton's number, wasn't he the starter both times last year when the Raiders went undefeated in the AFC west.........but didn't make the playoffs.............

nicely put but... palmer came off the bench unexpected and pushed into the 2nd half..he was stiff and not practiced, thus losing that game.it was ugly.them losing to the packers,(OF COURSE)..but i believe palmer and bush can beat the chiefs at there field.im seeing a high scoring game and raiders winning too

This is a Chiefs Defense that beat Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers and almost beat Rothlisberger at Arrowhead this year. The Chiefs absolutely HATE the Raiders, are now playing for a coach they respect and want to play hard for and if you think Orton is a downgrade from Palko you haven't been watching football. Chiefs will play like they did last week against the Packers but the offense will have a much easier time scoring. You get a very solid D, a crazy home crowd, an improved offense and only give up -1. Chiefs all the way!!!

Raiders to the over. I see this matchup very similar to a baseball game. Comes down to the starting pitching and in this matchup we have Palmer vs. Ortan. Who's the better pitcher? simple enough to decide IMO. They have to WIN and also weeks 17 matchup with the Chargers needs to be compelling for us west coast viewers. ALWAYS consider who the next weeks opponent is when coming down the stretch run ya'll.

Chiefs...no doubt...they will be up for this game equally as much as the Raiders...who are banged up no less...Crennel wants to be a HC again, and Orton will be just fine, watch...Chiefs, in the "Head" by more than a few GLTA
