Man, I could see the Raiders "Dinking And Dunking" and "Grounding And Pounding" and eeking out a win like they did against San Diego - even without D-Mac
OR
I could see Carson Palmer throwing 4 picks and Jared Allen doing his hogtie dance like 3 times...........
Vegas has this set right at basically a pick 'em - it's probably the hardest game to cap this week
What the hell - I'll go with the Silver & Black, only because they're in first place in their {ahem} "division", and they're still fighting for something. Vikings have no shot of anything, except maybe drafting Andrew Luck.

Ponder is Minnesota's qb & they want him to get as much play time & experience as he can so he can get some confidence& comfortablility as a nfl quarterback. A.P. & the rest of the vikings offense have accepted him & embrassed him & want to click & see if they can get on a roll. Just because they probably won't go anywhere this season doesn't mean they don't have new hope. Teams that finish feeling good, winning or keeping it close @ the end of the season can definetly carry that "momentum" if u will to next season. Look for the vikings to fight hard & improve for. The rest of the season. Vikings ML.

What an excellent and concise post, Ber!!
You hit everything the Vikings should do, right on the head!
But, this is the Minnesota Vikings {cough, 2015 L.A. Vikings, cough, cough} we're talking about.
Now, given their recent history of either "slumming it" at the retirement homes for washed up has-beens (Favre, McNabb) - or trading up for a QB in the second round that, even according to his Wikipedia page "was projected to go much later in the 4th-7th rounds" (Tarvaris Jackson) - - here's what they will do, it's one of two things:
The Vikings will trade Ponder and some draft picks to the Jets for Mark Brunell...........
OR
The Vikings wind up getting the first pick overall, and pass on Andrew Luck for a defensive end, because, by God, that's where they need the most help, right?
Or they do both................

Vikes do not have any big playmakers on that offense and seem to be going with Peterson Harvin Peterson Harvin and i do not think that can win them a ballgame ..every week someone is stepping up for the Raiders and making game changing plays, i believe Palmer has a field day here spreading the ball around and Michael Bush was unstoppable against the chargers , with 3 days extra to prepare i believe the raiders are more than ready and thi sspread looks to be a gift imo. Take the Raiders - 1

Judging on games that Palmer actually started... I like Oakland and the way they played SD, they look good. Michael Bush will take the load and Palmer will pass sparingly unless he see's a receiver open.
Though the raiders got Tebow'ed, who hasn't? Take the plunge and ride with the raiders. I don't trust Palmer yet but if they can get Bush going and take the pressure off Palmer then it will be an easy win for Raiders. QB's jobs seems so much easier when their run game is going great and they fill the box up. That will allow Palmer to get single coverage and maybe he will look like a good QB again.

I think Oakland's running game is the difference in this game. Minnesota will have to respect Palmer more than Oakland has to respect Ponder. They can load up to stop AP. Oakland for me in a low scoring game

I've bet with Oakland for most of this season and they have been great!! But there is something FISHY about this game!! I don't think Oakland can run on Vikes D.. Forcing Palmer to throw the ball.. I see Minnesota winning by turnovers.. Sh*t happens in the NFL!! Everyweek is different!! Minnesota and MIA ar for 1pm!!

You guys are out of your minds to bet on Oakland here.Minnesota is coming home off a embarassing loss at G.B. Look for them to rebound. They're defense will step up and Peterson will have a strong game.I think Palmer will look old and rusty with Jared Allen eating him alive in this 1.
