AS A COWBOY FAN.. I know that these two teams hate each other as much, if not more, than any other two teams in the NFL save maybe the Raiders and Broncos.  That said, Jim Johnson is a master at game planning against the Cowboys and the Cowboys defense will be well prepared for the only real threat they will face in Bryan Westbrook.  This will be way more of a defensive battle than the GP will give credit and in a game of this magnitude so early in the season, where points are at a premium, a touchdown is quite a bit. 

That said.. I like the under.. I'm expecting a 20-14, 20-17 type of game..

howsit goin everyone.. i normally don't start looking at nfl games until week 4 or 5.. but since i'm up from saturday, i'll make a two small plays on this game.. goin with philly and the under.. like posted above, two great defenses will keep this game low scoring, and i think dallas is a bit overrated.. there's a reason they haven't won a playoff game, its because romo doesn't do well under pressure and in big games.. just my picks..

Basically looking through my stats and trends Dallas has a terrible Monday night ats as favorites while the Eagles have a better ats record as road dogs.

Westbrook has always given the Cowboys problems and with the recent pick up of some arsenal's to help Donavan in the passing attack the Eagles can probably exploit some areas in the Dallas defense. Eagles have also made a key addition in their defense by adding Asante Samuel which should help them this season.

With all that said I actually like the way Dallas starts off in their games at home esp it being a MNF game.

Have not gotten my final lines yet but leaning on taking Dallas at the half also looking at taking the over but not sure of that one.

I COULD NOT AGREE WITH YOU MORE...... Philly D is GOOD.... everyone remember last year when they played NE (with Brady) and those corners shut down that record breaking offense??? well they are all healthy and playing, in addition to Asante Samuel.... they blitz and let the corners play man to man.... Dallas will not be able to run on this team leaving the game in Tony person's hands.... I can see Eagles grabbing a lead and Dallas playing catch-up (which they have enough weapons for)....

I teased the Eagles and Cleveland.... so far I'm looking good even though I hate teases because you have 2 chances to lose the bet.... I love the Eagles +13 naturally considering that I'm putting a small play on Eagles +7..... In my opinion on monday night football, on primetime, with the whole country watching, this game will be high scoring....

I think they will easily go over 40.....

Felix jones Looks like Barber in his first year , most definitely a game breaker but this will come down down to which defense steps up and makes some stops. Eagles defense is much better than what dallas brings, and offenses i would rank Dallas slightly ahead because of depth. However, Mc Nabb has weapons this year. Dont tell me the dallas defense is any good. They did not fix the corner problem. They put all their stock in Pacman, he could not cover anyone when he was at West Virginia. Notice how when he left the Titans that defense went to the top five. He is good for an ocassional touchdown but gives up a ton of receptions per game. There is nothing lockdown about him. JT smith and Westbrook are solid, now add Jackson and his speed. I must say I feel comfortable with Eagles ML but +7 is the way to go. Even the teaser +13 I saw someone post that with the over is a great play. Anyone remember the Bills/Dallas monday night game last year. Sorry cowboys aint gonna win the super bowl either. I have been listening to cowboy fans all week and they have nothing to bring to the table other than Romo / TO. Cowboy fans you need to be concerned about your defense. They could not turn a faucet off. Jimmy Johnson was a master at drafting players and getting the best effort. Jerry Jones is a moron and is second to mirco managing muck ups to Daniel with the Deadskins. On paper the Redskins are better than their record but in the end its what you do on the field that counts. 

RaulBloodworth = Never be gunshy. I got hammered on Saturday early (UCLA,CAL) but circled the wagons and got back to even in the later games USC, BAMA, Nebraska. 

Cowboys fan since Dorsett's rookie year, that's 1977 for the clueless. .  After hitting 5 out of 5 yesterday, i am NOT touching this game.  Dallas looked good in spots last week, but wayyyyyyy too many penalties.  A team like Philly is one who can take advantage of mistakes.  NFC East rivalry.  I am just gonna take this one in and hope for a Cowboys blow out.

jimmie 74 even though your a philly fan you make good points. I just don't see the Dallas defense being lights out. Cleveland looked terrible on offense again last night. Derek Andereson is now showing you what he did for Oregon St. He builds up your hopes and then Deflates you with a terrible streak of shi&*y play. That's what Pacman will do for Dallas. He will defend a pass or intercept and then everyone acts as if it has never been done before. Then when it counts he have a meltdown in coverage or miss a tackle and down comes the Hindenburgh flames and all.
