Whatever the line, I think Tennessee will get the SU and ATS win.
Might actually see Vick this Sunday as he could get some time should Philly fall apart early in this one.
Gimmie the Titans to cover the line
doubt it with vick and i need to see this one shape up before considering playing this, but i think philly wins it.
titans have a great defense for sure, but so do philly and the titans offense is hardly what philly's is. I know everyone loves cj2k and vince young, but coming into last week, the titans had the 24th ranked run blocking o-line to the eagles at 12th. they both have sub par pass blocking lines, but the eagles line looked awesome last week against a decent pass rush from atlanta, while the titans pass blocking was so-so against a subpar opponent. titans have a slightly better d-line in run stopping/pass rushing, but philly is still in the top 10 and top 5 respectively, so that's not saying too much. The titans have been winning this year, but winning the turnover battle, but at +8, the eagles are in the top 5 in that area, while if i remember correctly the titans are a little lower there. Kolb has been doing a good job of not turning the ball over, while vince young has had a hard time against
looking at tennessee's wins, they beat the raiders with campbell under center, the giants in a game where they were WILDLY outgained in yardage, but eli turned it over 3 times, 2x in the red zone and that game was before the giants got it together. They beat a dallas team that is so throw happy that they just walked into the titans strength, throwing 3 picks and still only losing by 7 to tennessee. Then the jags, who were a poser just waiting to be exposed and couldn't help but turn the ball over on request.
Their losses were against pitt, who's pass rush is ranked one below the eagles and resulted in the benching of young, who turned the ball over into a pitt victory, as well as to the broncos who are just as throw happy as the eagles and have even less of a run game and less of a defense in both areas (vs pass/rush).
if collins plays that's probably just as good, while he may not turn it over as much, he's going to be a sitting duck for a great pass rush behind an inneffective o-line.
I still like the titans to win their division because they have the best defense, but now is not the time to be fading philly. Waiting until they're laying points in this situation.
lean still, but PHI +3
