Dear god nice profile pic sweds.  Not everyone knows you can right click and "view image" SICK!

Anyway, the way I look at this game is that nobody really knows whats going to happen.  That said, I'd rather lay the 7 with the Steelers and be wrong than take the Cards and end up pulling my friggin hair out all game long asking myself "why did I bet against Big Ben and that nasty defense".  Cards have been playing with house money since the wild card round.  I can stomach the loss if the Cards once again play out of their minds.  GL TO ALL!!!

pitt is no longer a primary running team they run alot of shotgun formations.they run at times but pass more than they run.delhomme also went 7-27 against the raiders are u really surprised that carolina lost.and atlanta was 4-12 last year and played way over expectations.they have a good team to build on but again no surprise at arizona ,at atlana falcons might win. parker is much like westbrook when healthy. pitt will be able to run more times than not when they want to.eagles lost but put up very impressive numbers in the 3rd quarter. at one point the eagles 160 yards to something like 14 yards. and owned that quarter. zona was outscored 19-8 in the second half and scored on the one drive.

Warner and Fitzgerald are just two of the reasons I've become a believer.

The Cardinal defense has also stepped up big-time. They have held their three playoff opponents to just 232 rushing yards.

I believe Sunday, Feb. 1, might just be the day hell freezes over. That's right, second-year coach Ken Whisenhunt, along with the rest of the "Cardinerellas," will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy as the confetti rains down upon them.

The Super Bowl champion isn't always - and usually isn't - the team who played the best from weeks 1-to-17. (Just look at New York last year.) It's all about getting hot at the right time.

And that's exactly what Arizona is doing.

Good Luck to ALL!

Carolina was running the ball.... until their defense decided not to play and jake day light come and me wanna go home wanted to throw to red jerseys.... so they became 1 dimensional passing all game and throwing into red jerseys..... bad defense changed the game plan...

ATL on the road with a rookie qb... Arizona stacked the box and Matt Ryan forgot about the snap count thingy where you don't have to hike the ball the same amount of time each down.... they were playing catch-up most of the game... but its hard to run on 8 in the box against any team especially on the road in that environment...

Philly's defense much like Carolinas shit the bed... Larry Fitzgerald torched them.... Philly became one dimensional and stopped running the ball to catch up.... and pulled it off in the 3rd quarter.... their running game was held in check so I give the Cardinal defense the due respect in that one game...  but Philly's lack of Defense in my opinion was the direct cause of abandoning the run....

Pitt's defense is rediculous... the best in the league...... they won't be getting burned by one receiver... and they will force Warner to make mistakes.... BIG BEN has been running the hurry-up shotgun the second half of the season and has been very successful... they havn't relied on the run as they did in t he past.... but Willie Parker is healthy and making great cuts to the outside.... Arizona Defense will have their hands full....

as will the Steeler defense.... but I think the ZONE BLITZING SCHEME is going to work very well against Warner.... those little wide reciever screens aren't going to work jsut like the way the Giants shut those short passes down in their midseason battle in the desert....

this is in TAMPA.... outdoors... on the East Coast..... were Arizona only won against Carolina the whole year.... and that was a crazy set of circumstances.... i.e. qb throwing 5 picks and fumbling the ball....

PITT is a proven team who one much more games against tougher opponents....

I just hope it rains...

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Is it just me??

Or is this one of the least hyped, publicized SuperBowls of all time?  Borrring.  Vegas has to be wondering when the money is going to be played.

Here's to the game ending Steelers 27 Cardinals 20 and sticking it to Vegas!

I love it, most hating on my cards, just like all playoffs.  Keep pushing my line up.  Cards can combat that blitz by playing the spread offense.  Warner will get the ball out of his hands in 2 seconds and into his playmakers!

Pittsburgh's defense has been stepping up all year. And they've held their two playoff opponents to just 88 yards rushing. That's right 88 yards rushing (15 yards to the Chargers, 73 yards to the Ravens). And it's not like those are bad rushing offenses either. That's what Pittsburgh does. They take you out of your comfort zone and force you to do what they want you to do.

And why are the Cardinals hotter than the Steelers right now? They've won 4 straight and are 6-4 in their last 10. The Steelers have won 3 straight and are 8-2 in their last 10. Plus the Steelers have played much tougher competition this year.

Actually as booyahz123 and breakabookie pointed out the public has been hammering arizona and the points all week and the line still hasn't moved back down to 6.5. Something's not right about that. And Pittsburgh has played teams that run variations of the spread offense (New England) or west coast offense (Philadelphia) where the quarterback wants to get the ball out of his hand quickly. It didn't work out to well for those offenses. I know Pittsburgh lost to Philly but that had more to do with the 9 sacks Philly's defense had. Their offense only gained 260 total yards.

pitts secondary is pretty sick i`m a ravens fan and flacco had time to throw the ball but pitts secondary locked the ravens receivers down. i know the ravens WR`s arnt zona`s WR`s but i think pitts blitz will do the job. also willie parker is not that great 24 carries for 47 yards against the ravens. i know zona DE is not baltimore`s DE but he did nothing. but anyway i think pitt gets the job done with their DE. and they will put points up against a hot but weak zona DE. they go from playing baltimore`s DE to zona`s DE.

If Pitt can control Larry Fitzgerald they can control the game. Technically, the Cards only played Philly in the second half last week, and we see where that got them, imagine Philly showed up for both halves! I dont think many in here can argue that Pitt is a better team than Philly and will show up for both halves! Add experience and the confidence of winning at this level in the past, and its almost hard not to go with Pitt here! Yet somehow I still cant lock it in yet! As we all learned last year stats are no match for destiny, and these cards seem to do the impossible week after week! Still waiting this one out

This game has great over potential.Even If Pittsburgh gets to Warner I  still think the Warner Fitzgerald combo is good for 2 TDs and a FG
Arizona though will never stop throwing likely giving Pittsburgh a defensive score and plenty of opportunity on offense. If Pittsburgh can't get to Warner. Arizona could go over by itself The Pittsburgh DBs will not be able  cover  all the Arizona receivers without pressure . I can easily see 55 points in this game

tough call on either side here...I can see Pitt controlling the game with their running, and then going down the field for big plays.  Lets face it - AZ D is not the best, although they have been playing better as of late.  On the other hand, one can see that AZ is certainly gelling at the right time and IF Warner gets protection, they can put up some points.

What about the total???  I dont see much talk on here about the total, aside from a lot of people on the over...I already got UNDER 47 locked in, as I think the Pitt D is going to get heavy pressure on Warner....when the Eagles made the 2nd half adjustments last week and got pressure on Warner, he was terrible (aside from the last drive of the game).  Warner does not do well under pressure and he is not mobile at all.  Pitt will run the ball, control the clock, and take a few shots down the field...keeping AZ offense off the field.  Zona D has been coming around, and will make enough stops to keep the total under 47

Larry Fitzgerald has 3 inches and 30 lbs on any of the Steeler DBs Boldin  is 6-1 Breaston 6-0 It  so they also match up well.
The Steelers had better get to Warner or they are in trouble.

It official Cardinals win straight up.

Check this out Obama has come out and said he is for the Steelers.  Plus and I quote Warner from a Bill Simmons article: 'My wife (Brenda) kind of put words in my mouth and told them if we won the Super Bowl, they could get a puppy.' How can you go against the puppy trend.  Its 1-0 so far.  The only thing I don't understand is why aren't more people on the Steelers.

Stalker-good points all...It's just we are seeing things differently when we watch games. I remember Dallas seemingly in control vs Pitt in Pitt's backyard and it took like 3 scores in the 4th Q for them to sneak out a win. I also remember Dallas getting ready to move ahead in that game late but screwing it up at the last minute. I also remember Pitt not being able to move the ball at all for 3 Q's of that game, once again on their own field in Pitt weather conditions. I remember the AZ game seeming like Dallas was always trying to play catchup and it taking like 2 late scores just to get the game into OT. The Steelers just seem to have many times when they can't do crap on offense. AZ has obviously looked like dogshit many times this year. If they win the SuperBowl it will be the biggest upset in memory. I'm looking for a hard fought game where defenses will be hyped out of their minds and Wisenhunt using his knowledge of Pitt to advantage. It's a gamble for sure-duh, but I am still liking all seven of those points...GL

ILL TAKE 7 WITH CARDINALS IN THIS ONE
Steelers O cannot keep up with Boldin/Fitzgerald
The game is on a neutral field!!!!
Steelers need home field to win this one
your getting 7, and Cards could win this game.
Steelers O is just ok to below average and Cards have a pretty good D.  The Cards wont be behind early like some dufuss said, the Steelers have never been ahead early in good games.  They play good late.  and at home.  If Cards are ahead early they win, exactly like the Eagles game.  Eagles had a good D, Cards go up with their weapons and Eagles couldnt score enough to come back and win, with Westbrook and Jackson, who are way better than Parker and Ward.  The Steelers have a good D front and so do Cards.  This game will be played in the air and we all have seen what Fitzgerald is, unstoppable.  Boldin also.  Boldin is just as good sometimes.
Cards need to stop Holmes on returns for the field position is important.  I think it goes over with Cards winning or Steelers come back to win within a TD
CARDINALS +7
Good luck and have a good game.
