does this line confuse anyone else? Coming into week 1, most people had the Browns as their favorite to win the division, or at least challenge the Steelers. Now after a week where Pittsburgh beats one of the worst teams in the league, and Cleveland loses to arguably the best team in the league, Pitt is suddenly almost a touchdown favorite? On the road? On Sunday night? In a rivalry game? The Steelers may be for real, but I can't buy it yet...

I think I'll be betting the Browns hard

Not that I feel good about joining the consensus, but yeah, PIT is another one of those places you don't want to play.  The steelers are perennially dominant there, and much less so on the road.  Also, not that I think the cowboys are the best in the league or anything, but the Browns are going to be more focused on such a huge rivalry game and this is their best shot to take it.  I'm not certain that they will and I don't really buy the hype on them this year, but they should keep it to within a field goal like they did last year.  I'll be watching Josh Cribbs, because he's the key to their special teams/ return game.  If he's back this week, I'll probably pull the trigger here.

Got to fade you guys here. Pitt owns the brownies over the last several years. There is no denying that fact. Pitt too much offensive firepower for browns to stop. Harrison and Woodley will be a nightmare on D. Here are the trends. Lay the points

6 Is a lot on the road for PITT they own the BROWNS haven't looked at any stats but I believe PITT has beat the BROWNS the last 9 outings but the games are usually back and fourth and PITT pulls it out in the 4 th. I dont think the BROWNS will play as bad as last week but Im all over PITT

Surprised to see how many people like the browns after last weeks flat performance. Brown will be without one starting safety for sure, maybe both. Thats not good vs. a team that can air it out pretty good. Pitt has two RBs so they can rotate successfully unlike the Browns. I also think the Browns will get beat in the trenches. One a TD isn't too much to cover, I like Pitt -6.

New to the site and love it! dont be afraid to take Pitt this week @ -6. Pitt's running game is just as good, if not, better than Dallas'. Barber had close to 100 by third quarter and Felix Jones finished the browns off last week. Would've been a different call if Clevland played on the road last week @ Dallas.. but that wasn't the case. They look like a different team from last year and made huge improvements in the off-season on paper.. guess they're not sneaking up on anyone this year.. Take Pitt as road fav's.. this should be easy cake.. 0-2 at home early for Clev..

I like pitt in this matchup. I just dont understand why every year everyone always doubts Pittsburgh the first couple of weeks. And all they are every year is money in the bank. People need to get their head out of their asses and realize that the Steelers are a very good football team. And the Browns are not as good as people think. Look at who they beat last year. Below 500. teams at home. The only loss for Cleveland last year at home was to Pittsburgh by 30 points.

Steelers have owned the Browns.  It's hard to go against that trend.  I think Steelers' D is better than the Cowboys' D so that Cleveland loss looked pretty bad.  Fast Willie should have another field day.  Taking Steelers -6.

Pitt is the second best team in the league. Cleveland was beaten by the best team in the league last week at home. Pitt easily wins and probably by 17.

IMO the Steelers are one of the TOP 3 teams in the league...tough defense and an explosive offense....i like them in this situation at - 6....Steelers have dominated the Browns in the past and i look for that to continue....i hate to say out loud, but as a die hard ND fan..i hope the steelers knock the shit out of Anderson and give Quinn a chance to show that he deserves to be right in the running for that QB spot!

Steelers vs. Browns +6.5 (2 units) - another huge rivalry game today that puts two teams with high expectations together.  The Steelers rolled easy last week against the Texans, but the Browns stumbled badly vs. the Cowboys.  Had Cleveland put up more points, or even put pressure on Romo then this spread would be around a FG.  These teams almost always play each other close and the home field advantage alone should give the Browns about a FG.  Hopefully the offense finds its gear today and doesn't get another case of the dropsies.  Sports Insights has the Steelers going off at 73%, while Vegas Insider has them at 89%.

I have not seen anything of Ceveland that impresses. I think last year was a fluke for Anderson and one year wonder. look for Quinn to be their starting QB within 2 weeks. I know pre season doesn't mean much but they lost every one of their pre season games and got a shalaking last week by Dallas.
