Pittsburgh at Denver (01/08/2012)

As much as I loved the Tebow story during his winning streak proving all the talking heads on ESPN wrong, the jig is up!!! Tebow just doesn't have the ability to stretch a defense downfield and Pitt is gonna load up the box and protect the edges with their great linebackers so there will be no where to run. Pitt will win this one by 21 by doing nothing but playing great defense and setting the offense up with short fields.

Pitt's Defense is not near the calibur that it was in years past. I like Pittsburgh to pull out the win but 10 points seems a little high. Especially on the road where they have been subpar. There are better games to bet on Sunday.

Steelers will be ready for this game, all the hype on injuries for pitt is a front for more denver cash to roll in. 

Pitts D might score more than Denver O in this game.

Just think Pitt takes an early lead and denver will be chasing the rest of game. Tebow will try to force a couple of passes and that will be his down fall, leaving Big Ben with a short field is a big NoNo

yo fellas.  i dont often post. i just read and appreaciate the insight.

and i will say this first i am a homer living just outside of pittsburgh but i bet against the steelers all the time when i feel the need. i actually had cleveland in this game as i had baltimore over cincy. i knew it was gonna be that kinda game.and that balt would beat cincy.

anyway

but steelers win and cover here imo. everyone on here that is saying steelers barely beat cleveland has to remember its a division rival and browns have a good D just a horrible O. browns bring their A game everytime for the steelers. plus steelers as other teams do on last game are scoreboard watching. they knew baltimore had game in hand against cincy. so they coasted to a win but not cover. but its the playoffs and steelers will bring it the whole game and 9 points in reality is less than 2 score a TD and FG and they cover do u really think they dont get the 2 scores against denver.

Ahhhh, yes, but did any of those QB's take their team to the playoffs? - Nope..........

    Let's face Ben can barely throw, but he still manages to have a better passer rating than Tebow. Tebow will be forced to win with his arm, because he's not running away from the Steeler's "D". See Steelers pounding the rock and throwing short passes to maintain long time consuming drives all afternoon. DB's like Champ Bailey will be forced to bring coverage closer to the line to thwart the Steelers advance. Ben will finally find an open receiver behind the coverage. Of course, Troy P. will bring    one back to "the House" compliments of Mr. Tebow. The only way to Broncos advance is if Elway suites up and plays. And that ain't happening. Denver is one of  the worst teams to make the playoffs in recent years. The Broncos are extremely lucky as the Steelers have 2 handicapps: a) numerous injuries and b) getting 9 points. Here's a fun fact for you players willing to commit your hard earn dollars on Denver.  Denver is 1 - 7 ATS this season in all their home games!  Anyway, I'm seeing the Steelers winning by 10 to 13 points.

I think Ben R is playing a little game witht he media about a setback in his injury. Supposedly he reinjured it in the 3rd QTR of the Browns game. What I saw was Ben missing receivers in the first half and improved in the second half even though there was a few drops bu recievers. Take som attention from Tebow and say Ben is not 100%. Gaming Denver and the media. Stillers up early and then the defense scores on a clueless Tebow.
