could see why everyone is on Minn

Bridgewater is going to play. how long remains to be seen. maybe 1 series. someone said Peterson might play a couple snaps but i doubt that. He never plays preseason. 

And all the main Steeler players on offense and defense are sitting out this game... combined that with Tomlin not caring much about winning preseason games the last couple seasons and you have a no-brainer picking the Vikes

that being said: couldn't get a good read on the general attitude and how players performed in Viking camp. However for the Steelers i'm getting solid reads here. Their defense sucked last season and Steelers are making it a point in training camp to bring back the more aggressive Steeler defense of old that has gone soft over the years with full contact hard hitting in practice enough to cause slight injuries

i like that attitude and i feel it will filter down to those players trying to make the team. make them play harder. Also Landry Jones could have something to play for.. could be promoted from third stringer to main backup to Big Ben. Shaun Hill doesn't really have anything to play for if he'll be taking most of the snaps for the duration of the game for the Vikes. Also like the Jerome Bettis angle as well

i'm leaning the Steelers in this game.

Hello again Colonel and fellow cappers.  Football is officially back and I enjoy reading the opinions of respected friends here.  I don't like the fighting so I stay out of posting for the most part.

Preseason is all about head coaches, backup QB's, and who cares to prepare and treat it as a somewhat real game.  Tonight, Pitt cannot be taken seriously with almost their entire starting lineup o the bench.  On the other side they will be taking it seriously.  Simple as that peeps!
