A-r-r-r-r-r-g-h! Can't the Steeler homers go have their circle jerk on a Steelers fan board.
I hope Big Ben plays. It will just hurt his team as he get hammered all night.

I think this game is going to be very similar to the SF/Balt game on Thanksgiving. Two defenses that will be missing key players, but still very good nonetheless. Neither team has run the ball well lately, and that should continue tonight. If Big Ben plays, he will be pretty gimpy...and that is still a big IF right now. HIs ankle will limit his mobility and he will not have the escapeability that he normally does. I expect short passes that get the ball out of his hand quickly to limit the hits on him. Don't underestimate the fact that Pounceky will be out, too...the line wasn't the greatest to begin with, and he was arguably their best lineman.
I would think that PItt will blitz the hell out of Smith untll he finally proves that he can beat it. He is a good game manager when the running game is working, but he can't carry this offense if the opposition shuts the run down. He holds the ball too long and can't progress through his reads fast enough when blitzed, and Pitt will throw some exotic blitzes at him.
The only way I see this game going over is if there is at least one defensive TD from someone...and I don't think that will even be enough.
Under for me, especially if it stays at 38 or above...

All valid points; however there are other factors you must take into consideration when capping this puppy. Jim Harbaugh is one mean SOB and coming off a loss to weak axx Arizona, I can just about guarantee he won’t think twice about running up the score against a wounded/shorthanded AFC squad that competes in his brothers division. Those two brothers are “thick as thieves” so don’t discount that angle.
I am NOT playing the Total, due to the fact, you don't know what you will get out of BIG Ben; but I have seen Harbaugh’s locker room speeches… Hell, he even has me fired up enough to go put on some pads, so I’m sure his boys are going to come out firing on all cylinders. YOU and I know both know this game SHOULD be an Under, but I’m even more confident the Wise Men in Vegas know this game should be under as well. Don't be surprised if Jim Harbaugh steps on the gas and hangs a 31 spot on this wounded visitors while the whole world is watching (in his backyard I might add). Best of luck tonight Sir!

Jim Harbaugh is a FANTASTIC coach; in fact, if he was the coach of the Ravens instead of his raggedy ass brother, that franchise would have at least two more Super Bowl rings. I'm sure Jim takes responsibility for not having his boys properly motivated with that loss last week to the Cardinals and I am 100% positive he will have his squad lathered up to play on MNF. Couple that with a gimpy BIG Ben/Charlie Batch and I think we got a winner winner chicken dinner.
With that said, put me down for San Francisco minus the small chalk at the house please. Thanks!

Well, I put a foot in my mouth last Monday night when I claimed the under was the best play, only proven there is 2 half in a football game and where the heck 30 points in the 2nd half came from?. What did they do in the locker at half time?.
Advantage SD have OV Baltimore is home team and the EAST coast to WEST coast travel. I do see the same here but I will stay off this game until 2nd half. SF does have a healthy team and a better ATS, these two team are exactly the same in everything.
UPSET Sunday mean everyone is broke or down. I know I'm.

Godsplay,
If you read very closely I said I wasn't going to play the Total, however I wouldn't be surprised if the former QB, offensive play caller a.k.a Head Coach opens up the offense tonight and aggressively go after the Steelers.
The 49ers are very physical on defense and I can see them loading the box and making Charlie Batch beat them in the air (No way BIG Ben will be able to go and if he does, NO way will he be effective on that ankle regardless of how many painkillers/shots he takes. That was a gruesome injury). I see a bunch of three and outs for the visitors which translates into lots and lots of offensive possessions for the 49ers. Also, please don't forget the 49ers have the second best punt returner in the league so 8 out of 10 times they will have excellent field position.
As Snoop Dogg would say, "I'm NOT telling on her, I'm just saying." Good luck tonight Sir!
