Like the Chargers here. They are undervalued because of a last second loss, and the Broncos are way overvalued because they played a JV Raiders team. Anyone else see the Culpepper-esque Russel fumbling the ball without getting touched??? haha. Stupid plays by the Raiders made this game way more one-sided than it needed to be.

Chargers should get a bounce back win here.

Not in Denver.  That performance was impressive to me because they did in game one what they couldn't do much at all last year.  Close out games and win on the road.  Noone ever wants to have to go to Denver for a big game as it is one of the hardest places in the game to play.  San Diego may have squeezed one out there last year, but this san diego squad may struggle early, while I expect denver to have some what of a turn around year as cutler makes shannahan look smart for drafting him.

Initial lean towards SD- they lose this game they are down 2 games in the division. Not a good way to start the season. Should come out with alot of motivation. This is the NFL though and Denver should be pumped for their home opener. More research.

Like Denver in this one at home. Saw T.O.s last game as an eagle there before the suspension. Denver fans are a good group, and a tough place to play. oh by the way.....DALLAS SUCKS !!!! Go Birds

Denver is just too tough at home.
 
The Chargers loss to the Panthers at home without Steve Smith is just not accpetable. Denver wins this game.

One of 2 BAIT games this week, where the books changed the spread to favor the team getting more of the $$.  That means take the Chargers.

I AGREED WITH YOU 100% LAST YEAR..... 2 years ago i made such a killing on denver in mile high during those sunday night defensive games..... but last year killed me, it broke that trend for me.... i repeatedly watch LT run all over them in mile high..... favre beat them in mile high in OT...... peyton manning goes there and owns them......... according to the stats ATS in the last 2 years the mile high factor hasn't really paid dividends..... plus i think its harder to play there when the weather gets rough... in the begining of the season before the weather comes its just another loud stadium on the road in my opinion

the monday night show did impress me tho.... i'm laying off this game.... 1 point is not a home dog enough for me and I would be guessing if I told you which san diego team is going to show up this weekend.... because if it's the team that showed up last week, they have a decent chance to beat denver.... if its the playoff chargers, we'll then I'd say they'd definitly beat Denver regardless of where they play.......
 
love the eagles and the gmen.... thinking about taking the eagles +13 and the gmen -3..... i normally don't do teases but these too road games are drawing me.... also was thinking about hiking up the browns spread but the steelers scare me....

that's the dichotomy of the NFL, but you can't be afraid to come right back with what works after taking a hit or else you're off that money trail.  I think that this is the year that the chargers take a step back and let the broncos run the division for a season.  The broncos showed me something that they couldn't do last season against the raiders.  They performed on the road.  I know it's just the raiders, but they barely even beat the raiders in oakland last year, so it does mean something, especially with an inner division game.  I'm picking the broncos to win that division and the chargers to take a step back.  Last year was like the first time the chargers had won in denver in years and i think people will expect it to happen again, but i think that if only for this year, these two teams have shifted in the opposite direction and denver will man up and handle their business at home.

Over is 7-1 in DEN last 8 vs. AFC West.

I don't know if I can see San Diego losing this one.  Denver was impressive last week against a terrible team and a QB getting his first real action.  That SD game could have just as easily been, and probably SHOULD have been, a win for SD.  I'm not throwing their season away because of a last second loss at home in week 1. 
SD has an advantage with Denver coming off a short week.  I love home dogs in the NFL but this is a big game for the Bolts.  I have a feeling the Broncs run D might regress from Monday night to become a little closer to last season.

Both d questionable!!! OVER BIG  Merrimen juiceman OUT for season!!! I didn't see SD getting to QB or stopping the run like they used to when merrimen was playing.

San Diego looked more like the Padres and the Chargers last week. I blame coaching for not having the team up for Carolina. I don't expect the same this week. Take the Chargers on the road.

Big chargers fan here but I'm taking Denver at home.  Except for last season, the chargers always seem to struggle at Mile High.  Our defense didn't look good last week.  I think it's going to take 4-5 games until we get our groove back on both ends.

I don' t know maybe I was watching the wrong game......... but I saw a Charger team start slow out of the GATES.... then while down by two scores come back and score a touchdown on a beautiful offensive drive....... it was like a masterpiece drive.....
 
then they punted, had faith in their defense.... their defense forced a fumble....... they got the ball back......... THEN THEY SCORED AGAIN........
 
to me, they won that game....... their defense held up at the end until that last play of the game....... that was just luck he chucked it up and 2 SD DBs missed the ball by an inch.....
 
In my opinion it was an amazing come from behind win but their defense just came up short......
 
it could have easily happened to the JETS as well....
 
I think SD knows they came from behind and really should have won the game.....
