You would have to go back to 2005 (15 matchups ago) to find a spot where Denver has beaten San Diego by more than 11 pts. I am sure that in a lot of those games people stated "Denver Blowout", or "Broncos win this one handily". History dictates otherwise imho.

Denver want let up and it's a huge difference playing in Mile High cold night weather then playing in KC cold daytime weather. Rivers will throw 3 picks today and Broncos want let up trying to clinch home field and stay ahead of Chief and Pats which Peyton rather be in Mile High with home fans and dealing with the cold than on the Road just my thoughts.

its going to be a shootout as both pass defenses are bad so there's reason to think SD can barely cover the spread. Welker or no Welker, the Denver offense can still explode with the trio of Decker and two Thomases..and Moreno to keep the offense anchored. If Welker played I would expect a 14-17 pt bronco win, but without him I feel like they can still cover and win by 10-13 pts.
