KC is playing much better now.

Luckily the St. Louis Cards bailed me out this "football" weekend - but I'm not done yet........... Unfortunately Basketball is a no-show, so I guess I have to rely on football alone............ Let's see............

Im playing KC to stay home...  Sounds like I'm betting the farm. and I am. This gm a coin flip.

Taking the chargers -3 on this. Reasons:

1. Rivers as a QBR Rating of 86.6 vs. (Cassell 61.0 vs. SD) vs. the Chiefs. Rivers also has a better QBR Away: 94.2 vs. Cassell Home: 81.6. These numbers should technically be flopped since Cassell has home field advantage, but this isn't the case.

2. Biggest difference maker from last game at home vs. today: Gates. Big and favorite target: Antonio Gates. This is River's bailout. Almost as big as the US using tax payer money to bail out banks.

3. Overrated games KC has faced. This spells to me inflated numbers. SD faced some decent defenses actually. Denver is pretty decent in the passing D, Miami is technically tough with JTaylor. Not sure if this 3rd point makes too much of a difference, but it speaks to me.

KC's win streak is not impressive. Facing terrible teams and winning 2 of the 3 games by under a TD. Chiefs are allowing big plays and Chargers are capable of doing that. Coming off a loss to Jets and bye week, Chargers will be focused while Chiefs will be facing their toughest opponent in 3 to 4 weeks (when lost to Chargers and Lions).

 Another point is that the Chargers have not allowed the Chiefs to score more than 21 pts in recent and relevant years (with Cassel).

That is a big factor because the Chiefs will not be able to compete if the game gets out of hand early. They rely more on the run game to get the pass going.

I like the Chargers to win here by more than a TD.  31-20

Under 44.5 is the play, why does anyone think SD is a dominant team? Whoever mentioned earlier they should have kept Sproles was on the money!  Now looking at KC they need a +4 TO ratio to have a dominant game and score more than 14 points.....

Funny how we view these teams.

KC is playing their best (against not so good teams).
SD is struggling and we all know as they can do better.

SD is still favored and KC is suppose to lose.  Well at least that is how Vegas sees it.

First let me say AGAIN...this is a no brainer pick tonight and easily the LOCK OF THE YEAR.  As everyone here loves stats to back up the picks....here's a few that should sway your pick to San Diego

1.  KC has won 3 games against VERY POOR teams with a combined record of 6-17.
2.  KC has lost 3 games to teams with a winning record.  The total score differential is 27-109.....WOW !!
3.  KC has an extremely weak offence.   Against winning teams, KC has averaged 9 points per game.  I will say that again...9 points per game.

  LOCK OF THE YEAR....I would bet this game even if SD was -14.
