The Chiefs are a live dog here .... Its not often that you see a 2 win team playing with a swagger - but the Chiefs are. They were stopped at the half yard line on 4th down to tie the game or go ahead (Herm might have gone for 2) vs. Denver with 3 minutes left Sunday ...the young players on defense were flying to the ball.
Although Thigpen locks on to recievers at times - he has a big arm (throws a great 15 -20 yard out and gets the ball to Gonzales on a line) and extends plays with his feet. The Chiefs also got 4 defenders back from injury in the past two weeks.
The Chargers are playing out the string - what do they possibly have to play for? They are all but mathematically eliminated and their is in-fighting over who is to blame for the most underachieving team in the league.
The Chiefs at home in December have an incredible track record, and part of the reason is that it is die hard football fans that make the trek to Arrowhead that late in the year, and they party hard and cheer hard. The home fans are hungry for a win and the atmosphere will be exciting as the young players on the team are playing with more confidence, and swagger each week.
The 5 points are a bonus - Chiefs on the money line here.

Going against my chargers here and over 46. Thigpen and Gonzo are playing well. We all know the chargers struggle against top tight ends. In the first meeting, Thigpen threw 3 TDs, 2 of them to Gonzo. They should post similar stats. Also, the chargers are not giving up. They need some luck and denver to lose but they won't know that day because denver is playing at 4 pm vs the panthers. They should put up pts so I like the over more.

Another 10:am (PST) start time. This is they're 4th one of the year. Lost the previous three. By the way, what the hell is the NFL thinking with these 1:00 PM EST start times for West Coast teams ?

I like KC plus the points at home. Division game at home after losing a CLOSE one in SD. KC is also getting some starters back on defense. SD is another team that plays to the competition because they have talent but the coaching staff sucks. KC is not afraid of these guys and they will be super pumped playing at arrowhead in the cold. Neither of these teams have anything to play for but pride, so I'm rolling with the head coach that has a lot more of it!!! Also, KC will be able to move the ball all day vs SD's shitty secondary with their mobile qb with a gun slinger mentality. COVER.
What do you guys thing?

Wow! I guess none of you witnessed the ass whipping that SD gave Oakland last week. They finally showed what they are capable of. Bolts still have slim playoff chances. Neverless, they will be pumped and ready for this division rival. Bolts by 10.

hey jolly would u say beating the raiders is a good benchmark for judging a team? To me bragging about beating the FAIDERS would be like bragging about being the smartest kid with down syndrome.

Toney G. is averaging 8 catches for 102 yards per game in the last nine vs SD. And that is when SD had some good defense.......on the road with only pride to play for in one of the tougher stadiums to play in across the league, I'll take the home dog.

Oh those Bolts... I would suggest going against the rest of the year no matter what the line is. It's looking like an absolutely embarassing loss in which they'll give the division to DEN. Pack it in and rest up for next year. Bye Bye Norv Turner, something that should've happened the same day he got the job!
