Losing Clayton is really going to hurt The Rams who had become Bradford's go to guy.  So many injuries to the skill positions for The Rams doesn't bode well for them here. 
Not to mention week 5/6 is usually about the time The Chargers start to realize there is a football season they are involved in and need to start winning football games. 
Is 9 a bit inflated?  I am not so sure here.

   This game should be called the slaughter of the Lambs! I mean Rams. While both teams are 2-3, the difference between them couldn't be more glaring. The  Chargers are perennial playoffs contenders, and the Rams are struggling to climb out of the cellar! They were eatten alive by the Lions. Coupled that with multiple injuries, especially at WR, I see saviour Sam Bradford having a very long afternoon!  The Books are praying someone will be dumb enuff' to side with the Lambs!

STL +9 (3units): i have the Bolts wining by 3, so i'll take the points.While San Diego may be the better team, St. Louis does play better at home while the Bolts seem to struggle on the road. So a team that lost to Kansas City, Seattle and Oakland is laying 9??  While the Rams were blown out by the Lions 44-6 last week, hence the big line. I'll take St. Louis at home with the pts. Score: Chargers 28-Rams 21

Don't you have the Chargers winning by 7?  I like St. Louis as well, but watch out because Bradford just lost his #1 weapon.  Looks to me like a nail-biter (as far as the spread is concerned) and San Diego wins by about 10/11.  Take Indy this weekend (even though 85% of the public is on their side) because they are about to bounce back and Washington is due for a big letdown (McNabb for 3 picks).

San Diego lost the three road games due to special teams mistakes.  They dominated all other facets of the game.  They should be 5-0.  I think they get the SP/TMs in order this week.

Great comparison. I think it says it all. You guys seriously think a elite QB like Rivers will let a young kid like Bradford show him up? Gates is a MONTSTER, how do you containt a man like that? Oakland got extremely lucky last game, St. Louis would have to get extremely lucky not to lose by 2 touchdowns.

This is probably the sucker of all sucker bets but I grabbed San Diego 1st half -6.  If this team can just minimize the problems from a special teams perspective and force a few three and outs out of the Rams this should be a decent wager.  Anyway, that's all.

Tough game to cap here, Chargers suck on the road so far this season, Rams play better at home but with a major go to guy out !  Feeling the points here but afraid Rivers has a huge game today ?  Leaning Chargers -9 ......
