Are the winless Panthers really gonna try and win this game vs the One-Win Niners?

Race for the Number One Draft Pick...

Carolina 0-5

Buffalo 0-5

San Francisco 1-4

Detroit 1-4

Cleveland 1-4

Dallas 1-4

The Bills still have games vs Detroit-Home, Cleveland-Home as "Win-Able" games. The Bills also play NE and the Jets at the end of the season so one or both of those might be resting players for a playoff run.

Carolina still has "Win-Able" games vs STL,TB and CLE all on the road and AZ at home. They finish vs Pitts-R and Atlanta-R who might be in a position to rest players for a playoff run.

It will be interesting. Does Buffalo want another Stanford QB in Andrew Luck? Does Carolina really plan on winning a game this season with a lame-duck coach who most likely won't be back in my opinion?

We will see.

Maybe the Cowboys will trump em all and get that number one overall draft pick...How 'bout them CowToys.

frisco should not be favored in road games, and almost shouldn't be favored at home.

leaning CAR +2  they're a much better all around team than 0-5.

frisco shouldn't be favored on the road against anyone.  panthers statistically deserve 1 win more than the 9ers deserve a second.

san fran righted the ship last week and I expect that to continue in lowly carolina.

SF -2 (2units): would this be consdered a swagger play tpking? 5 losses in a row and then a win last week. I'm hoping so and if Crabtree, Davis, Smith and Gore show up to play, they should easily cover against the hapless Panthers, even if it is an early right coast game. Carolina is last in PPG @10.4 overall and a measly 6.7 fo home games. Score: Forty-niners 21-Panthers 9

I still like the UNDER, but now predicting a higher output by the niners, at least 21 pts.

west coast to east coast 1 o'clock game... 1-5 vs 0-5...dont lose your money on the niners, panthers D is for real, especially after the bye week.  not to mention against the turn over/ ineffective offense of the niners which could only hang 17 point at home against the lowly raiders...19-17 panthers

    carolina +3, under if it goes up to 37.5

    Panthers get their 1 st win here. They do very well after byes. This is a winnable spot against a very suspect 49 er club that doesn't travel very well. Carolina covered and just missed winning in New Orleans by the score of 16-14 in Week # 4.

How can anyone put their money on a team who played like that vs chicago? That game was painful to watch...clausen isn't gonna magically have a game plan after a bye week. The niners thrive on shitty defenses..thats what makes them good look. And when good QBs come around, they stomp the niners. Not the case here. Its a bad offense the niners can feast on and a defense that their running game can actually get to if they get them early like chicago did. The panthers are already out of contention, lets not forget that. The niners can easily get themselves back into it with a win here.
